An update
Well Operation Catch-Up is off the ground. The pages aren’t flying off my desk, but I am making progress. I discovered this site that posts page calls/design team calls, and so that I think is slowing me down a bit because I think in the back of my mind every page becomes maybe “they” will select me with this one. That then sometimes takes the fun out of it, and definitely makes things more time consuming. YIKES. So maybe I need to get up to my spring pics and then start dreaming about being on a couple design teams, getting published, etc. lol. I feel so close… almost good enough. But, I need to remember why I started scrapbooking in the first place – to chronicle my story – NOT to be the next Ali Edwards. (For those of you who don’t know, Ali is pretty much the best scrapbooker on the planet – no joke – she is rediculous).
Yesterday I had a big groundbreaking for work. It was for one of our larger clients and I had been working like crazy on it for the last 10 days. It went fantastic! We had a great photographer there – Dana Thomas – and he took some fun shots. Here are a couple of my faves of me “in action.”
Making a few edits to the CEO’s remarks
Tomorrow we are celebrating my birthday with a little gathering of friends. I’m pumped. We are going out for dinner to a place called Cabana (a hot little restaurant in “the Village” in Nashville) and then going on the Nashville Ghost tour. It should be fun. I made my cake last night and frosted it this morning – it’s pink and yellow. It’s so cute and so me. Don’t worry – I’ll post pictures soon.
okay – gotta jet. Mwwaaa!!
