TGIF!
YEA! It is finally the weekend. I have been looking forward to this weekend for a while. Tonight Matthew and I are having a date night to go see our friend Todd and his group, Selah, in concert. The concert is benefitting a great organization called the Hope Clinic.
It is also the Simply Southern Scrapbook convention this weekend, which as you know, I have been quite excited about. The layout contest theme is couples, and I have to admit, I think the spread I did is one of my best yet. I will post it after the show. I think it has a strong chance of placing. The top three winners get published!! I also made a lot of 6×6 pages to donate to Make-A-Wish, so hopefully I will win at least one raffle prize. (Though that isn’t why I participated, it still would be nice. 🙂 ) Last night I took two of my three Carrol Bunn classes. She was very kind and enjoyable. The projects turned out cute as well, and I was happy to get a Technique Tuesday stamp. My only disappointment was that the Technique Tuesday class we made a Flip Flop album, and we know I have made enough of those! It was still a good class; however, had I known we were making a flip flop, I probably would have taken something else.
Well, I must finish getting ready for work. Thanks for checking in!
