What a week/weekend
Last week was such a busy week. Work-wise I have more work than hours in a day. Consequently, that meant for several late night.
I pulled through thanks in part to my excitement for the Creating Keepsakes Convention that was in Nashville this weekend. I volunteered on Thursday as a TA for a fun class by Powder Keg, took a Rusty Pickle class Friday morning with my friend Angie, and then shopped Saturday morning and volunteered from 12-6. It was a very long day Saturday, but I had a blast. One highlight of CKC was meeting sweet Courtney Delaura – Rusty Pickle teacher/design team member and scrapjacker. What an absolute doll she is!
Sunday was Express Festival of the Arts at Fellowship. This year I displayed my scrapbooking and it was so much fun. I met a lot of people (mostly women) with an interest in scrapbooking, but for one reason or another don’t do it. I enjoyed talking with them, sharing Stacy’s Big Picture philosopy, etc. It was a neat experience. There was a lot of music and my favorite group Watermark performed a half hour set. Christy Nockles is an incredibly gifted vocalist – wow. I could listen to her sing anything. Matthew also did a reading from Jesus Needs New PR and received a terrific response. Very exciting for him.
It’s time for me to get ready for work and hit the ground running on another busy week.
Ciao!
