The Winds are Changing
All of a sudden, I am quite busy at work. I love being busy – the craziness of juggling deadlines, client needs, strategic campaigns, etc. I have been steady the past few months, but not slammed. It looks like the winds are changing. I am excited for the weeks and projects ahead.
I drive a 2003 silver VW bug – “Lucy.” I adore her… well until lately. She has 57,000 miles and all of a sudden I am seeming to have a lot of problems with her – I have had to take her to the shop THREE times in the past month. GRRRRR… I realize a bug is not the most practical car for having a baby, but we plan on just using Matthew’s car when we have the baby. He has a spacious Subaru Forrester. Lucy is just a year from being paid off, so we don’t want to sell her, but a couple more shop visits, and I may be getting a new car. Again, the winds may be changing, but in this case, I hope they will just correct themselves. 🙂
This weekend we are having a SIS TV crop in Hendersonville. I’m looking forward to having so much creativity in one room, seeing old scrapbooking friends and making a few new ones. I am also looking forward to scrapbooking and having a bunch to share with you! I have done very little scrapbooking these past few months, but I hope the winds are changing there too.
Enough about me – read an Audrey Caroline update here.
I’m so jealous of your crop, I need some good mojo like that.
Can’t wait to hear how much fun you have!
I want to see a pic of your cutie pie car! We have a VW too…surprised? a Passat though. I LOVE THAT THING!
Wow lots of sis crops going on, we here in WA have one next weekend. I can’t wait either.
I hear ya on the new car thing. Mine had it, but it was paid off, sois my hubby’s so it was hard to go to a payment after allthis time, but I love my new car. I would rather have a payment then no new car, hehehe. I got a 2007 subaru outback limited legacy. love it.
I have really gotten in to SISTV, wish we had crops close enough to go too.
Some of the scrappers at church get together 1 or 2 times/mo, but we seem to get more talking done then scrapping. lol
