A Blessing in the Mail
Thank you for all the comments, emails and voicemails regarding Audrey and Angie. They have lifted my spirits and been of much encouragement.
I have always been a believer that mail blesses people. When Matthew and I were dating, I would send him several cards and letters a week, just to bring a smile to his face. I often send cards to my friends instead of emails because I believe there is nothing better than receiving a hand-written note.
If you have been touched by Audrey’s story, I would like to encourage you to send a card or note to the Smith family. I know that every card they receive will be treasured. Here is their address:
Angie and Todd Smith
PMB 210
8161 Hwy 100
Nashville, TN 37221
Blessings and peace to you today.
thank you so much for the information. I think cards and letters are great ways to show encouragement and love. I will be sending one soon! Thanks for helping Angie and her family through this time…you are a true friend.
You are a precious friend. I know this is hard to watch too, keep loving the Smiths so well. We are praying for their friends too.
Angie is so blessed to have you as her friend. Thank you for taking the time during this difficult time to keep us updated. I have been reading about Angie for sometime now and I just adore her sweet family. Please keep loving her for us. I will definitely send her a card. What a sweet idea. Thanks for the address.
Thank you for updating Angie’s blog. I have been following her story and clicked over here and now I’ve added your blog to my list of “daily reads”.
Thanks so much Jess. I completely agree with the letter thing and have been trying to develop a habit of writing letter weekly. I will definitely write her.
Thank you Jessica for taking the time to keep us informed on how we could pray. Thank you for giving us such wonderful perspective in this difficult time. Thank you for being such a great friend to Angie.
Hello Jessica – I also clicked on your link from “Bring the Rain”. When I noted you scrapbooked I ahd to come visit, as I too, suffer from the obsessin. I plan to make a card for Angie and Todd and their family. I have had the pleasure of meeting Todd 2x in past years when organizing his concerts at our church. I, too, was in Phillipians last night and thought of the Smiths and Angie’s incredible strength and testimony while reading those same verses. I will continue to lift them in prayer – thank you for being such a wonderful friend. HUGS to you as well for the heavy heart I know you must be feeling. I am sure you will be able to help Angie preserve memories of Audrey through the gift of scrapbooking.
Jessica, I have tired on two different computer to enter the photographers web page to view the Smith pics and there is no “enter site” or anything available, any ideas? I would love to view the pic.\ Beth @ menolly37@aol.com
I just found out about Audrey’s story yesterday. Wow. We have 3 little girls, and I can’t imagine losing one of them. Thanks for the address, so I can send them a card.
Hey, I’m back. I just spent a really long time reading through your old posts. 🙂
Turns out my hubby has been talking about your hubby lately (think they chat online). I’m a writer too. (facebook friends with Matthew. he joined my book group.)
I know you have a lot going on, but when things settle down, I’d love to do a book swap. My new book is called Changing Your World One Diaper at a Time. It’s pretty cool. 🙂
So much of your blog resonates with me (except for the scrapbooking!)
Talk to you soon!
Jessica you are such a wonderful friend, the Lord has blessed us with you. We are all praying for you too in this hard time. God has many gifts for you. Thank you again for keeping us updated.
What a sweet friend you are. Angie is pretty blessed to have you in her life. I will pray for you also, that you will know how to be the best friend that you can be through this time.
Blessings,
Darlene – IN

Jessica, Angie is truly blessed to have you as such a good friend. It has been a pleasure to give back to Todd and Angie. Their family gives so much to us via the band…it is truly an honor to be able to give back to them.
Hand written notes are the best…my latest is to incorporate my scrapbooking into my card making (minus the photos, unless they are going to family members) I’m amazed at how people are so surprised that someone would take the time to not only send them a card, but to make the card too!
I’m addicted to paper, scrapbooking and note cards too!
Look me up when we finely get to Heaven together….years down the line!

Thank you for sharing with us about Audrey. My card is in the mail to them.
I came to your blog through Angie’s, whose link was posted on a message board I frequent on the day she posted the video of the girls and Kate was talking up a storm. I laughed at the video and then started skimming and ended up reading her entire blog. I have not lost a child after birth, but I have had 2 miscarriages since August 07 and Angie has been a blessing to me. I will be sending them a hand-written note soon, because I feel the same as you. A handwritten card or letter sent “snail-mail” is so personal and makes someone feel cared about and extra special. I do the same thing as you and send notes to my friends randomly.
You are a wonderful friend to the Smith family!
