Life is Moving Too Fast
Life is whooshing by me at the speed of light. Like many of you probably feel, it seems like there are not enough hours in a day. I am going from the time I wake up until I go to bed. I often think how life is going to change when Elias arrives… Often, it’s the little things I think of – like, I already can hardly keep up with laundry… what am I going to do when I add his to the mix?!
This is my last weekend home for a few weeks, so I have big plans for it.
*Tonight I will probably work late and try to get our house in some sort of order.
*Saturday, Angie and I are going to register for Elias and just have some good quality time. I also need to pick up my dress for Rachel’s wedding and go try on my dress for Colleen’s wedding (that’s the one that is getting remade). I am actually going to stay at the Smiths Saturday night because Matthew is on deadline and could really benefit from a Jessica-free house. He didn’t ask me to do this, but I know he is secretly grateful. I am hoping to get some scrapbooking projects completed Saturday night.
*Sunday, Matthew and I will go to church, then come home, have lunch and then I am helping with the Young Leaders Council community service project. We are planting flowers and shrubs at RASAC. Sunday night I hope to finish the scrapbooking projects that I am starting on Saturday.
Monday will be here too soon, I’m sure.
Please be praying for Matthew this weekend as he works on his intense deadline for his hardback book, Churched, which will be releasing in the fall. He is in the editing phase and though his publisher loves the book, he still has quite a bit to do.
The best part about being so busy now, is that when he finally gets here, life does stop for a few moments, as you soak up the goodness that God just gave you!
Enjoy these quiet times before he arrives……..and by the way, doing new baby laundry is great fun! It’s all so tiny!!!
