Wedding #1 is Almost Here
This weekend is my friend Rachel’s wedding. We have been friends since 7th grade! I am so excited and honored that she asked me to be a bridesmaid and be a part of her special day. I leave for Milwaukee tomorrow and will head up to Oshkosh with my Mom Friday morning. It will be the first time my parents have seen me since Christmas, so they are really excited to see my belly. 🙂
I have A LOT to get accomplished before my flight tomorrow. In all honesty, I don’t think it is possible to get everything done, but I am going to try my best. If you think of it, lift up a prayer for energy for the next five days, as I am really going to need it.
I will try to blog at some point this weekend. I get back to Nashville Monday morning and then leave again Friday, this time for Colleen’s wedding. Matthew will be going with me, which will be a nice treat, especially since we both have been working so much. Col’s wedding is in Baton Rouge on Mother’s Day.
It’s going to be a fun, hectic two weeks!
You have my prayers.
I can’t imagine doing all that traveling and busy-ness w/ being pregnant. You must have more energy that you realize.
I know you will be exhausted when you get home.
I wish you well & will pray for safe travel mercies, as well as energy.
Sincerely,
Jackie Carl

How fun for you! Have a great time!
You will have fun and a great time! It is definitely hard to be away from home, especially when preggo. I’ll pray you have fun and lots of energy!!! I bet once you get back home you’ll crash!
I will be praying…………… I love your blog!!
Jessica, I found your blog through Angie’s. I was touched by how wonderful her friends seem to have been to help carry her through an incredibly excruciating time. That type of friendship is truly a witness to those looking on. I had to comment since in your post you talk about going to Baton Rouge for a wedding this weekend; I live in Baton Rouge and as you might imagine, it is not a place you hear mentioned often! If you need any ideas for restaurants or places to see, let me know!
I too found “you” through Angie’s blog. In reading here I see you’re coming to the state where I live! Are you from here originally?? Just curious! I haven’t been reading here for very long!! Hope you have a great time at ALL the events coming up!
Blessings!!!!
