A Busy Weekend

Thanks to the help of our friends Lee, Traci, Cherilyn, Melissa, Julie and Jimmy, we got our bedroom all painted “creme brulee”. It looks terrific. Tonight and tomorrow we’ll be getting the room all put back together.

Matthew also had a speaking engagement Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning. He spoke on calling, jumping off his new book Hokey Pokey. Though it has been out for just a few months, he is already getting letters from people who have been touched by the book and the stories/interviews he shares about people and their calling. I love this book – it is probably one of my favorite’s of his. Anyway, I got to see/listen to his talk on Sunday and it went well. Saturday night, Angie got home from the beach and we spent a few hours talking – laughing, crying and just catching up. It was really good. I am so blessed by her friendship. Today is her birthday – Happy Birthday, friend. Love you.

This morning we have an Eli check-up at Vanderbilt. Tomorrow we have our last birthing class and then are seeing KT Tunstall at the historic Ryman. We are very excited.
