  1. I’m looking forward to this journey with you Jessica. As you know, I’m in the same boat as you.

  2. Thanks for you honesty Jessica! I’m definately at a “stalled” point and feel that longing inside to be in God’s word more and learning more, but I’m not making the commitment to do so.

I’m thankful for the challenge our pastor gave us yesterday. As a church we’re going to read through the whole book of Psalm over the summer, with daily reading “assignments.” The point is renewal.

Praying for you through your journey.

  3. You are right that the Word is crucial to getting you get you moving again. The Holy Spirit has not let me be stalled very often – but my physical challenges sometimes hinder His work.
God bless you at this time and rest in Him. One person put it like this – ‘are you in Leviticus – do you need Triple A to pull you out.’ I always thot that was funny. I think that focusing on the New Testament is crucial to getting moving again. 🙂 But that’s just me. We’re all stalled at different times – …

  4. Recently I’ve been studying John 3. And after reading through John’s testimony v. 22-36, I read this quote in Matthew Henry’s commentary and it struck me as where I am so at…or more where I long for God to bring me:

“We must cheerfully be content to be anything, To be nothing, so that Christ may be all”

  5. hello there- you are so blessed. as i cried out to my bible study group last night-i am at a spiritual low. it is so hard to be in it right now. in my beth more study-this is what we ended with

    2 Timothy 2:13
    if we are faithless,
    he will remain faithful
    for he cannot disown himself.

i have thought about this verse throughout my day today and am hoping that tomorrow when i am leading my summer bible study group that i find the strength to lead these women into a closer relationship with Christ.
so thanks for the honesty and blogging about it. i needed to hear those words. thanks
