  1. yes they will! i love every homemade gift the kids bring home. wait until you see our tree on monday… it’s 50% homemade ornaments… and i wouldn’t have it any other way! 🙂

three posts in one day… girl you’re the bomb! 🙂

  2. He is precious and I love the project and the matching PJs! How do you get Elias to smile in every picture? Is he just a ham or do you have a secret trick? Cristian will smile before and after the picture, but absolutely refuses to smile during.

Once again, I have to steal another great idea from your blog! I was going to stamp Cristian’s hands with paint on thank you cards for any gifts he receives, but now I think I will do his feet instead and make them into reindeer…for a holiday theme.

  3. YOU ARE KILLING ME it’s so cute! First, what an adorable project idea. LOVE it. Second… could he freaking look any prouder holding that thing? I swear he is the happiest kid on Earth.

Then again, I’d be happy hanging out at your house all day too 🙂

  4. I just had to post a comment because well, it he is absolutely adorable! That smile, art project, and those jammies… thanks for putting a smile of MY face!!!

  5. Oh, what a cutie!! That smile is just awesome!!
My DD's 18 & I still hang as many of her school/Scout/daycare-made ornaments as I can every year.

  6. Ok Jess…he is adorable!!! I know what makes him smile..he has a Mommy who loves him so much! Have a fun and blessed holiday! Love you’s!

  7. My children are 10,6 and 2. I HAVE to throw some things away that they make but I almost cry every time. They will delight you every time, no matter how many times. You are lucky to have such a happy, photogenic baby. He smiles so sweet!

  8. Oh, my, that picture is about the cutest ever! He is adorable! That card is so precious! I would be scanning it and using it for Christmas cards!

  9. What a DARLING picture! I love the art project too. I have a feeling all of his projects will be that exciting! I have giant boxes of stuff my son made over the years. Some of it probably is not worth keeping, but I can’t get rid of it!

  10. YAY!! I have been looking for a cute little art project to do for Christmas presents for our parents. My mom always framed artwork of ours and hangs it up at Christmas…one of my favorite things! I am doing a double frame with mat – this reindeer art and a picture of Eli. Thanks for the idea!!

  11. The projects are the best…they never stop and it is so great! Sometimes you will need some explination as to what exactly they are but just the excitement my daughter has to bring something home from school is so much fun! His little foot is so cute! I wish they could stay that little and needy forever!

  12. Oh this is the cutest thing ever! What a great idea. I tried to get my daughters hand print a while ago however she was not so cooperative. We will try again soon.

  13. Elias is such a cutie! He looks like he is just such a happy little guy. Every time I see a picture of him I can’t help but smile, And that art project is too cute! I remember the first time Madeline made something in Sunday school (she doesn’t do daycare, so she was closer to 2 years old for her first art project). I was so proud of her until on the way out of church she dramatically walked up to a trash can and stuffed it into it before skipping out of church. She is a handful, let me tell you!

  14. I just found your site and I love, love, love, it! I have a 6 month old and I MUST make a footprint reindeer with him. I think we will make one every year to show his growth!

  15. I have a 21 year old son who is the love of my life. I still have ornaments that he made for me growing up that are still on my tree each year. It wouldn’t be Christmas without them…as strange as that sounds. You will cherish each and every project he makes…as you should. They are precious and will mean the world to you…I hope you and your family have a wonderful “First Christmas” with Elias…he sure is one beautiful baby!

  16. yay to not being the only one behind on Christmas cards or wait a minute we are still early…Christmas is not for a week, right? I am hoping to have mine in the mail on Friday also!

  17. This is such a cute idea! Love it. You will treasure each and every one of there handmade gifts. I know I do. Thank you so much for sharing.

  18. OH my goodness! i just want to reach right into my screen and squeeze him up!! What a cutie AND that first project…you will ALWAYS cherish it!! I am a teacher (kinder 🙂 ) and I try so hard to have the kids make cutie things for their parents. When my 2 and 3 year olds bring home ther “art’ I am always moved…TO TEARS!! i am tearing up as I write this, i just love their art and how proud it makes them feel.
