  1. I have a goal of 365 pages this year…..I know, pretty steep goal, but I’ve been on a roll lately, and would love some of anybody’s stash!! 🙂 I’m on page 18 so far!! Can’t wait to see pics of your layouts….I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog.

  2. me too. i’m going to use my stash only this year. it’s time to save some cash and trim down the stash. 😀

  3. I am also trying to use what is in my stash. I think I could scrapbook for the next 5 years and not buy anything but adhesive and possibly some cardstock. Please don’t include me in your giveaway. Please share the wealth with someone else. Just wanted to leave you a comment. Have a great day!

  4. Wow! I hadn’t even thought of making a page goal for layouts this year, but I do need to get busy scrapbooking. I’d love to win some of your stash!

  5. Hey Jessica! I am attempting to do 50 layouts with just what I have….of course with the exception of adhesive..still working on mt DD’s 1st year (she is 3 now LOL) Take care and thanks for a chance at sharing your stash!

  6. Hello! First of all, I have to say that Elias is just such a cutie! I would love to share in your stash! (I’m trying to do the same type of thing with quilting fabrics — it’s just amazing to see how much accumulates!)

  7. I love seeing all your layouts. I don’t get to scrapbook as much as I would like to, but I like to read about all your ideas and stuff.
    Karyn

  8. Count me in! I’m not allowing myself to buy any new supplies until I get to consistently completing layouts using what I have. More time creating and less time checking out lots more stuff to create with. It can suck you in that way..all the neat options. But I’d love to have some more supplies to work with, who wouldn’t? And you always have such great scrapbook stuff.

  9. Great idea for a challenge! I would love to add some of your “stash” to it though! Whenever I crop with several friends we always put out stuff we don’t plan on using and then trade with each other. A great (and free) way to get some new stuff!

  10. You know, what I find amazing is that even though we all know the big companies – MM, AC, etc, everyone’s stash is totally different! Thanks for sharing yours!

  11. That sound like a great idea! Good Luck! I would do the same but I am just getting started collecting a stash of my own.

    Amber

  12. You’re so sweet! I hear you on the budget concerns and interestingly, made the same promise to myself about buying new!

  13. Hi Jessica, I always love a little stash! 🙂 We just found out baby #3 is on the way (shhh!!!), so I need to get motivated soon as this will be our last (unless God has other plans, of course). So, I may try to join you on the 100 layouts. So far, I have 0. Ummm…. yeah, I need some new stash for inspiration! 🙂 Kendra

  14. I always try to use a least some of what I have before buying more. That doesn’t always work out for me though! 🙂

So generous of you to share your stash! Puts you closer to being able to buy more goodies. 😉

  15. I make these goals all the time to use what I got and not buy more. Lately I’ve been doing a lot better. I’ll be excited to see how much you can do without buying. I love your blog!

  16. So nice of you to share!! Thanks so much 🙂 I enjoy your blog so much…. I too find it a challenge to make do with all the supplies I already have. It’s been kind of fun for me…

  17. My budget is tight, so I’ve committed to cleaning my stash out too. I also donated some to my son’s Kindergarten teacher — the kids go wild for pattern paper to cut and stickers. It felt good to clean it out and be able to share it … just like you are doing. Thanks for sharing your stash with some lucky reader!

  18. I really think you can do this, Jess! You will be so proud and I am sure it would make the layouts more meaningful knowing that it is coming from what you do have rather than what you want. Can’t wait to see the layouts 🙂

  19. Hey Jessica! It was great seeing you, Matthew and precious little Elias yesterday! I just printed off a ton of pictures to scrapbook in the next few weeks, so I would love a peek into your stash to get me going!

  20. I’ve read your blog from time to time and just decided to link it and start scrapbooking more (you encourage me). However, I am going digital. I plan to NOT buy anymore paper or embellishments for my traditional books. I still have a lot to do to catch up on pictures already printed. But I am not printing anymore and doing those digital. I look forward to using up my stash and learning a new technique all at the same time.

  21. Aloha Jessica,
I have been doing the same, only buying adhesive and blank pages. Something new to look at would be so much fun!
    Sincerely,
    Rebecca

  22. I’d love to win some of your stash…I’d get new stuff while not spending money, the best of both worlds!!

  23. There must have been something in the air this weekend cause I went through and organized my stash and got about 6 new layouts planned/started.
i’m sure your stash is wonderful and thanks for sharing.

  24. I would LOVE to say I’m not going to buy any new stuff, but they keep coming out with the neatest papers! I shouldn’t need too much though, I’m doing Project 365 and have pretty much everything I need for that. Of course, anything you’d like to throw my way, would be GREAT! 🙂

  25. Hi Jessica,

I love to win some product. I’m dreadfully behind on my albums and need a kick in the butt. I am hoping to make 2009 the year that I get caught up!!

  26. I know, isn’t it amazing all of the stuff we accumulate! I would love to win some of you stash! I am on a slow start but have done 3 layouts already this year!

  27. Oh how wonderful! It’s like a Christmas gift in dreary January. I love to be “resourceful”. It’s amazing what you can come up with whether it’s in cooking or scraping. It’s all about creativity! Keep us posted on your progress:) Your layouts are really inspiring

  28. I’m totally with you! I’ve been so proud of myself – haven’t used any Michael’s or Hobby Lobby coupons yet this year. (you know – just because I have them doesn’t mean I NEED to go buy something [yet-another-thing!] that I don’t need.) I’m not going to set a goal of # of pages to do w/ stash items, but I know I can do a lot of LOs w/ not buying anything. Thanks for the chance to add to the stash. 😉

  29. I found your blog a few months ago and just enjoy all the scrapbooking inspiration you give! My goal this year is to catch up on scrapbooking my oldest daughters school years. She is now 13! LOL! I am setting 50 layouts as my goal. We shall see!

  30. Ooh, pick me – I love scrapbooking!! 🙂 And I always love reading your blog, Jesissica – what fun! You leave me inspired =)

  31. My goal also is to use just my stash for the next 10 layouts. However, there was nothing in my goal that I couldn’t use free stuff! Have a great day Jessica.

  32. Okay…so I know this is going to sound really weird.

The other day I was reading your blog post about how you have more scrap booking stuff than you would probably use. I was thinking of leaving you a comment saying something along the lines of "Why don't you do a free giveaway". But I didn't want to come off mean, like you were hogging all the wealth. Because you're totally a great person. I'm probably sounding confusing. So anyway, I went to read your blog today and saw that you are in fact doing a giveaway.

It was just really weird how that worked out.

& I would love to have a little of the stash. Scrap booking is my FAVORITE hobby when I'm not doing photography stuff.

    =)

  33. what a good idea. i am like you and have accrued alot of stuff and need to just use it and not buy more. been thinking about just using what i have and not buying b/c budgets are tight everywhere. can’t wait to see pics of layouts. my prob right now…no pics they are all on the camera and i need to go print them out!

  34. I think it’s really neat that you are sharing your stash and I would L0VE to WIN it. Thanks for the chance. Jayne

  35. Great idea! I am on board with you with the whole 100 layouts thing. I definitly could use up most of my stash!!!

    -Amy

  36. I would love some of your stash. Of course, my husband would probably say my stash is big enough, but we all know that in scrapbooking variety is key!

  37. Hi; I just found your blog not to long ago and I really love it. I would love to win some of your stash and to see what you have. Thanks for sharing!!
    Eileen Van Dyke

  38. Good luck with your goal. I’ve been working through my stash lately too. My husband has given me a challenge. Use up as much stash has I can. I’m doing well so far. Anything I might win will just be a bonus. 🙂

  39. Jessica, I would love to have anything from your stash! Last year has been a rough one (money wise) and I haven’t been able to purchase much! Thanks again for your inspiration and your kindness ! 🙂

  40. Wow that is generous of you to share your stash. Your goal is ambitious, but I am sure you will accomplish it. Thanks for all of the inspiration.

  41. I’m with you. I didn’t put a number on it, but I have made a commitment to use up some of what I have before buying new stuff! I’m even thinking of giving away some of my stuff as well 🙂 Or selling it on Ebay …

  42. Don’t throw arrows at me, but I don’t know that I have enough supplies to create 100 layouts without any new products! I think its a great goal! Can’t wait to see how it goes for you!

  43. This is a great idea. I have a lot of scrapbooking to catch up on. I am going to try to use my current supplies without purchasing anything new to finish off 2008 and start 2009.

  44. Not buy scrapbooking stuff for a year?! Oh my…
My craft area is used by both my daughter and son alot-so anything extra is always welcome.

  45. Pick me! Pick me!!

I think you’re right, though! I’m inclined to buy kits and things that make it easy to snap an album together, but really I have a ton of stuff already that I can use. I’ve been trying to save the “scraps” and use them on cards.

  46. One can never have too much scrapbooking stuff, can they?!

Being on bed rest with my first pregnancy, I can’t really get out to buy new product, but this would be a nice treat!

    🙂

  47. I think I could definately use some more stuff for scrapbooking. I can’t wait to see your layouts! Love your blog and Elias is gorgeous.
    sara

  48. what a great goal! I have a similar goal for myself this year of using my stuff before buying more. Good luck and I can’t wait to see the next 90 layouts! 🙂

  49. I won’t join you in making 100 new layout for scrapbooking but I will make 100 different types of card making each of them different with the stuff that I have.

  50. My scrapbooking is so messy with stuff all over the house(basically disorganize) that my husband once comment that I have enought stuff to open a store. I wonder. Anyway thank you for sharing your stash. I love to win it anythime.

  51. What a great idea…especially since lately i’ve been doing more “collecting supplies” than “producing results”.

  52. I am trying to get started, so this would be a great start for me I am sure. Good luck all & thanks Jessica! Jen P.

  53. I am just like you, except instead of your love of paper, I love tools and organizing bags/totes/cabinets, etc. I could definitely do 100 layouts with what I have. I will join you in your quest, although I have no will power (for dieting and scrapbooking) and I just bought the cricut expressions, so I really want a new font.

  54. Your 365 blog inspires be. I am keeping up with mine too and it it so much fun.It will be so cool to look back at the end of the year and see our life and how it unfolded this year.

  55. I have not set a goal of how many layouts to get done for the year but that is a great idea. I also need to focus on what I already have. It is so easy to think that there is something else that I should pick up or “need.” Thanks for the challenge. I would love some of your stash. I am always looking for different vendors to get items from! 🙂

  56. I did a page each day last January, and I made it my goal to only use my stash (except for adhesive and a little cardstock). I was able to do it, and I felt so good about it! I’d love some of your stash! Thanks for sharing!

  57. Hey, sweetness… I don’t want my name in the drawing (someone else needs the stuff more than me, I’m sure) but I wanted to say you can SO DO THIS. You could probably even do it with half your stuff… not because you have too much, but because you will have to get even more creative in order to do it.

And if it’s one thing you got, woman… it’s a wealth of creativity!!!!

  58. Hey, Jess!! I would love the chance to win some of your amazing “stash!” Count me in, sister!! Thanks for the awesome giveaway?!? You’re the best!

    Love ya,
    Jess 🙂

  59. I have a goal of 75 layout this year. I would love a little of your stash to add of course to the stash I already have. Which I’m trying not to buy anything but use what I have.

  60. That’s a scary thought? Buy nothing but albums, adhesive and thickers???

oh wait..that reminds me..I need to go buy adhesive…

  61. I’d love your stash!! 🙂 Still trying to get by 18 month old’s first year done before baby #2 comes!! 🙂

  62. I would love to get into scrapbooking but I haven’t because of the cost. Maybe if I had a little head start with some of your stash I would be able to justify it! 😉
    Catrina, in Oregon

  63. It’s funny I was going through my stash the other day and thought I need to go shopping.
My knitting stash on the other hand has gotten lots bigger lately.
    Maybe I need to focus.

  64. Oooo – Pick me! I have a 6week old daughter and would really like to start scrapbooking to mark the milestones like you have!
    Thanks!

  65. Hi Jessica

I am new to your blog, and enjoying it! I am also working on project 365 and loving it. I would love to win your stash!!

    MLB

  66. Yea. I need to be inspired to use my stash as well. I’ll join you on the challenge. Hope I’m up for the task!

  67. Thanks for sharing! (But don’t pick me if you don’t want to ship to Canada…)

I am definitely not NOT buying new stuff! Only because my city has been sadly without a good shop for, oh wait, only 2 months… that’s not that long. BUT, we have a new store opening on Wednesday. I’m excited and WILL be there shopping on opening day.

I usually just use my meager stash, but there’s nothing like new stuff to get the creativity flowing.

  68. Wow you must have a lot but that is great! I wish you the best in meeting your goal of 100 layouts with your stash and 150 this year! You can do it!

  69. Hey Jessica! I have just recently caught the scrapbooking bug! I can’t afford much, so a little bit of free stuff could go a long way! 🙂

    BTW, I love your blog!

  70. sharing is great!!! i find that i will need to budget this year, which leaves less room for scrapbook supplies!

  71. Pick me! Pick me! for your stash give away;)

I have never commented before, but have followed your blog from Angie’s for quite a while! Lots of great ideas~
    Thanks!
    Chele, KS

  72. Oh I can’t wait to see the new layouts! I am getting motivated by you to actually get my twins baby books started! So please, I would love to be included in the drawing as well. 🙂

  73. I would love to see what goodies come from your stash. This would be a great one to win!
Using what I have at home has become my mantra as of late, seeing as how we’re a little short in the money department(at least for extras, like scrapbooking). Necessity is the motherhood of invention/creativity, right?:)

  74. Seeing all of your scrapbook pages, I couldn’t imagine a better giveaway!

I can’t wait to see what new scrapbook pages come from your stash! Good luck!

  75. I love going thru my crafts and using things in my stash I’ve forgotten about. This weekend I did this with bows for my daughter. Never thought to do it scrapbooking. Great idea! 🙂

  76. I have a little one just a few months older than Elias. I love following all the fun things you do with him. And, I just love to scrapbook, so thanks for offering some of your stash to a lucky person!

    Michelle

  77. Our budget is also very tight right now and I am not really buying new stuff either. I would love to win a very things to add to what I have to work with already. I love your goal of 150 pages. I think I’ll “play” along. I’ve got to get busy though, I don’t have much started at this point.

  78. Hey Jessica! I've recently started reading your blog & I'm hooked! Hopefully I'll get some of your stash 😉

  79. Hi Jessica-I am in need of some inspiration to get back into scrapbooking. Maybe some of your stash will help!

  80. That’s a great goal! I could probably do the same, but it sure would help to refresh my stash with some of yours! 🙂

  81. Hi Jessica,
I am also on a Use Your Stash personal challenge. I only have to do 30 LOs but have to have them completed by 27 March when I go to scrap camp. THAT is a huge challenge for me! But I have done 9 LOs so far and more scrapping than I did the ENTIRE 2008!!!
    Angela (New Zealand)

  82. congrats on starting your challenge! … I think I may have to join you too… well, other than my monthly kit club. Can’t stop that one with the subscription 🙂

  83. I probably have enough to do 100 layouts too! But I would never turn down new items…maybe if I win I’ll have to have my own contest to pass on some of my stash 🙂 Thanks!

  84. Thanks for all of your scrapbooking inspiration! I’d love some of the stash that you aren’t using!

  85. I’ve been doing something a little similar. I make a lot of cards and have stashes of odds and ends in small boxes. I pulled out a box the other day and am amazed by all of the ideas I’ve got to use the stuff in there. I’m looking forward to seeing the bottom of my box again! Thanks for being so generous with your stash.

  86. Hi Jessica. I’m so glad I found your blog a couple of months ago. My baby girl is 6 months old and as a new mom I’ve loved reading all the things you are going through as a new mom too. Thanks for everything you share with us, and thanks for the giveaway too!

  87. Hello,
I’m trying to use up my stash too, but it is hard to quit shopping! My goal for the year is simply to finish a lot of the albums I’ve already started (seeing as I have way more that are only 2/3 done then complete albums!).

  88. I would love some more scrapbook stuff…and some time to scrapbook. My daughter just turned 6 months old and I have yet to find to time to scrapbook since she arrived. Maybe I should make a goal to finish her baby scrapbook by her 1 year birthday. That would give me 6 months! 😀 Thanks for sharing all your great ideas!

  89. Hi! What a fun giveaway – I would love to win! I’m a relatively new scrapbooker and I made the mistake of buying some things in bulk (the paper pads) and now I don’t love them, but I’ve resolved not to *buy* anything until I use up some of my little collection. Thanks for the chance to win.
    Sarah

  90. Hey Jessica….I would love some more stash…I just went thru mine and donated a ton to a young girl with limited funds. She’s new to scrapping and loves the hobby already.
I have to admit…I would look thru the winnings also and perhaps kidnap a few things…but the rest would go to her!
    Robin

  91. I will admit something to you, I failed in my December Daily project. I got too busy!! But I am in need of some supplies!

  92. Just wanted to say thanks for your post a week or two ago when you described how you would be completing project 365 back when you thought you wouldn’t be receiving a kit. I’ve referred to it many times, and have followed some of it in order to create my own album of the days in 2009. Since I’m getting married this summer, it will be fun to chronicle the 6 months before and after the wedding through this project. Thanks for showing me how, even though I missed the boat on the Project 365 kit! Aloha!

  93. I have never scrapbooked. I would like to try and each time I visit your blog I think about trying!! I would love to ‘win’ some of your goodies! Your family is so precious!
    Liz (In TX)

  94. Hi Jessica!
Ohh! I LOVE paper of any kind! I’d love to enter this giveaway!
I loev your blog and reading about you and Elias as well as all your scrapbooking endeavors!
Thanks for turning me on to the Project 365! I didn’t get a kit, but as I just started scrapbooking digitally, I have put together my first spread using the digital kit components that Becky sent out!
    Thanks for your great blog!
    Hope

  95. I have been checking out your blog for the past weeks! You are so inspiring, and I hope to someday start my own blog! I would love to be included in your giveaway!! Thanks!
    Christy Wallace

  96. I am new to the scrapbook thing and would love some help getting started!! I also have a (almost) 6 month old little girl who looks strangely similar to your Elias… I really enjoy your blog, thanks for sharing with us!

    Amy Uppercue

  97. I am working with my ‘stash’ right now…no new in several months with a few more to go! I would love to win so it would give me a boost of something new…for me!!!

    Awesome giveaway!!!

    Pamela in TX

  98. I finally got to start a PINK album this weekend, of pictures of my five-month-old niece. If you have pink stuff you’d like to share, pick me! 🙂

  99. We just had a crop last weekend where a bunch of us tossed our stuff on the table..then we all went through it and then one lady took what was left to a Women’s shelter..Needless to say they got a lot of stuff to use!

  100. What a great idea! I have tons of papers I’ve bought just cause I liked them with no real plan of what I’d use them for. . . No time like today to start putting them to use

  101. We are on a really tight budget too! I would LOVE something new to add to my stash. Maybe that will be the kick off I need to get scrapping again.

  102. I think that sounds like a good challenge, scrapping with what you have. I will set a goal of 20 layouts with what I have…have to start somewhere. Lyn

  103. How very generous of you! I’d love to win some of your stash – especially since Wednesday is my birthday! 🙂

  104. I’m currently trying to develop a stash of my own, I think its so awesome that you’re willing to share, especially in times like these. Would love to be a part of it! thanks

  105. I’m sure your stuff is wonderful. I’d love some if I’m lucky enough to be chosen. You are so nice to do this!

  106. I have a small stash but could use some new stuff. I’ve been using some of my stash to make notecards lately just for fun. New to your blog and I’m enjoying it.

  107. Hi Jessica,

A fellow Wisconsinite here! Brrr…I bet you’re not missing the cold weather.

Scrapbooking stuff?? Pick me, pick me! 🙂

I really need to get my butt scrapbooking some more too.

  108. Hey Jessica,
I don’t think I know a scrapbooker around that doesn’t have more supplies than they believe they need so don’t feel alone. Thanks for the chance to win!

  109. I to have a goal of finishing my daughters album ( her 1 year old album.. shes 4) soon and getting through month 6 of my sons before july..(he turns 1 friday and i havent dont any of his book yet.) And I too have my eye on a couple of things I am really wanting from cha.. but I like this challenge im in!

  110. I LOVE your idea of scrapping with what you have – I, too, have an abundance of papers, elements, stamps, etc that I need to dive into. I will take you up on your challenge and use what I have instead of buying more…not sure how long that will last with the new releases but it’s a good place to start! Thank you for the inspiration! :0)

  111. I’m with you on working with what I already have…It’s a challenge, but I’m giving it a whirl….Love your blog!

  112. I really need to get some scrapbooking done…I’m so behind! I think setting a goal to get things done is a great idea, something I’m going to have to try to get myself motivated to finish things! =)

  113. I would love to take some of your stash off of your hands for you! I am getting ready to scrapbook my daughter’s birthday and Christmas! Holly bhc-law(at)juno(dot)com

  114. I need to get back into scrapbooking and could use some motivation. Winning your stash would be great!

  115. Jessica,
I am mostly a lurker. I think this is the first time I have commented mainly because I am chasing a 18 month old all day. Anyway I identify with your mommy posts. Thanks.

  116. Sorry for the multiple comments but I was wondering if you would share some of your monthly layouts of Elias using the Becky Higgins baby kit? I loved the video where you showed us all the other stuff you did with the kit. Thank you.

  117. well, i’ve done really well not buying too much new crap since 2007. i got preggers with my youngest during the spring that year and had severe morning sickness, so i didn’t hit any of the stores up, so when i finally had him a year ago…i still had NEW to me stuff that i bought before i got sick. i realized that i didn’t need to go to all the stores and buy new stuff weekly or even monthly. i do buy a few things here and there…but NOT every week. so your old stash would be at home with me!!!

  118. Funny stuff…GOING THE WHOLE YEAR WITHOUT BUYING ANY SCRAP STUFF. I must say that every few weeks and then I stumble across a site and BAM! My cc takes a whack! And with CHA right now and the sneak peaks….I’ve gotta hide my wallet or we’ll seriously be on the street!!! Great blog, thanks for the giveaway and inspiration to scrap with what I have…I’m gonna try….
    meeshella2 at aol dot com

  119. I’m sure my husband would say that I don’t need anything else, but I’d love some new stuff from your stash!

  120. Hi!:) I’ve just started to get into scrapbooking. I’m totally addicted to cute stuff for it. I’d love some more.

  121. This is funny–I just realized the same thing! A couple weeks ago, I was moving my stuff around and cleaning up a bit and I realized I had scrapbooking stuff in 3 or 4 different places and when I put it all together, I realized I had SO much and could probably make a whole book without buying anything new!

  122. I just found you from MyBabyPhotos and would love to be considered for the stash give a way.

I’m attempting to use my stash too and not buy until I use most of my stuff.

    I’m enjoying your blog.

    Adriann

  123. Hi Jessica!!
My goal is to use what I have, too.
I am planning on using my stash or passing it on to friends who need it!
My goal is 1 page a week. That may not sound like much…but with 2 jobs and 3 young daughters, it is a challenge indeed!!!
    Have a great week!!!

  124. I’ve been sick and almost missed this. Love scrapbooking. I’m ridiculously behind, as I already had 4 kids when it caught on, but I still love it. Pictures and creative stuff – some of my favorite things. I love scrapbooking at my best friend’s house because she has an amazing stash too, and she loves me, so she shares. 🙂
