Baby New Year Photos
So I have been planning to do a New Year’s Baby mini photo shoot with Elias. On Tuesday I went and bought a top hat, silver sash and noise maker for him at Party City. The sash said “bachlorette” so I just used the back and put “Baby New Year” using some thickers on it. It turned out so cute… if only you got to see it.
Since Matthew and I have been sick, we didn’t get to take the pictures until today. As soon as we put the sash on Elias, I knew I should have super glued the letters to the sash because within 10 seconds, this is what Elias looked like.
Needless to say, we went with a plain sash. There was brief talk of gluing the letters, but Elias was so into crinkly the silver sash, all the glue in the world wouldn’t have mattered. Oh, and the blow horn was made of glitter (what was I thinking?), so that didn’t happen. Elias had his hands on it for 2 seconds before it went in his mouth and his face had black glitter all over it. Silly me, thinking I would prevent this. Yeah, right.
Okay, those are just too adorable and funny. And great plans almost always need readjusting with little ones.
Such cute pictures! Even if they weren’t exactly as you plannned:)
Absolutely sweet and adorable!!!

I hope you are feeling better! We’ve had the rounds here at our house, too. I think the pictures are perfect just the way they are. You will always smile when you look at that first picture with the letters all over him and the bed. =o)
He is totally adorable!! My fave is the next-to-last, with him in the hat and all smiley. I think he makes a perfect “new year” baby (even without the letters 😉 )

Cute pictures! So, I know this is going to sound so random, but I know you’ll have the answer. At least I hope. My daughter’s babysitter and I were do some crafts today. We’ve searched stores up and down trying to find “greek (fraternity/sorority) scrapbooking items. Stickers, embellishments, paper, anything. No luck. Do you know where I could begin looking for this? Thanks!
Awesome shots you have there! Certainly have some keepers.
That first shot looks like Baby Alphabet Soup! Have you ever heard of the children’s book “Martha Speaks”? I thought of that when I saw that picture.
Your baby is just too cute for words! 🙂
That smile is adorable and such a cute idea!

@OBriens – no idea on the greek stuff, as I never went greek. I’m sure you could do an online search.

You have the most adorable son! You know how most people think their children are the cutest?? Well your son really is!
That first picture is hysterical! I know it didn’t turn out the way you wanted, but it’s a great picture. Those would make such a cute scrapbook layout. 🙂
ironically, my favorite is the one with the letters strewn about 🙂
Adorable! What a cute idea!!
