Last month when I attended Blissdom, I had the opportunity to meet Lisa Leonard. She gave me a sweet little burlap package, filled with candy, a card and an adorable key ring charm. I have long been a fan of her jewelry, so to get a little package with a handmade charm – I was super excited.
You can imagine my delight when I followed up with her after the conference and she offered to send me one of her creations – and give two for two lucky blog readers! What a blessing!

Like every mommy, I’m a lucky mommy. I miscarried one twin, but God let me keep the other. He’s my blessing.

I was then surprised with an accidental pregnancy that went down yet another rocky road and ended up having a little girl 6 weeks early and spending a week in NICU. i am a lucky mommy, so i hear. lola was a good baby…never liked to use a pacifier (although some days i wished she would), never used a bottle (went from breast feeding to a sippy cup), and slept pretty well. now if only she could fall asleep without me right next to her (she is almost 3 now)! I am a lucky mommy! In utero my son Owain was diagnosed with a life threatening birth defect called Congital Diaphragmatic Hernia. We were told that he had a 50% chance of surviving. After three surgeries,40 days in the NICU and another week in the hospital at 9 months. we are very blessed to have a happy healthy toddler! Looking at him today you would never know he had such a tough beginning. I feel blessed every single day we have with our little man! Being a momma is the greatest gift!

I’m a lucky mom, because they realized my son was IUGR when I was 35 weeks pregnant. I had to deliver by the time I was 37 weeks or the odds were in favor of being stillborn. And, you know he knows to play quietly in his crib until 8 am 🙂

Hi Jessica – I’ve been following your blog awhile, but this is the first time I am commenting:) Very cute necklace! I am a very lucky mommy because I have a 4 1/2 year old, a 6 month old and found out that we have another on the way! Yes, quite the shock – however we had fertility issues between the first and second child, so the fact that God has chosen to surprise us and we didn’t have to go through any “trying” makes me feel like a very lucky mommy!

I will soon be a lucky mommy! My first baby is due in less than 11 weeks. This baby was desired and prayed for long before she was conceived and we wondered for a long time if she would come from our bodies or if we would parent someone else’s child. I am certainly lucky to be her mommy!

I have a lucky mommy. She was told she would never have children of her own. 15 years into marriage with my daddy, and surprise! I’m here!
I am a lucky mommy. My son was in and out of the hospital the early months of his life. There were times we knew exactly what was wrong and times we didn’t. I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing my 2-month-old in the ICU with a central line in his neck. I spent my first mother’s day in the hospital. It was then I realized that no one had warned me about that part of motherhood!
But now I have a vivacious and way–too-active 5-year-old. I am beyond lucky because I work in his school. For my son’s entire school career, I’ve gotten to take him with me every morning, peek in on him throughout the day, and take him home with me. God could not have blessed me more.

i am a lucky mommy because my nine year old is still very loving unlike many of his friends who don’t want their moms to hug or kiss them in public.

I am soooo lucky every day when I wake up to two wonderful boys and a wonderful hubby! Life is good! Tomorrow my youngest turns one and we celebrate the gift he is to our family. I am lucky to be able to stay at home with them and see all those wonderful milestones. Before long I know they will be all grown up!
My mother is the lucky mommy – she had two girls, and then 14 years later, as we were getting ready to think about/go to college, she has another one to keep her company. =) No empty nest for a long time now!

Wow to be a mommy is lucky… I have four kids and my fourth was God’s surprise, there were many times throughout the pregnancy that we thought “it” would come way early — I was on bedrest. But i knew I had to believe in God and that all would happen as it was suppose to… well She came a couple weeks early and stayed in PICU for 11 days and everyday I thank God for this wonderful surprise and when she comes up to me and says mommy Thank you, Mommy I get tears in my eyes that I almost didn’t get to hear those words. And when she lays on the floor screaming… I say oh my goodness I almost didn’t get to hear these wonderful screams. And when my three older kids love on her and tell her how much they love her… I know I am the luckiest person in the world to watch all the love this family has… and I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
Aren’t all mommies lucky??!! I know I am…blessed with two healthy, energetic boys (to go with the husband and male dog I already had). But really, it’s so fun to hear the delight we all take in our families!

I just made a small album in the shape of a 4 leaf clover and it says “lucky me… i have 2 kids, a great husband and together we make 1 happy family!” i am such a lucky mom to have 2 beautiful healthy happy kids!!! When I ask my daughter how many babies mommy has in her tummy she says “teeeeew!” How much luckier can I be. I am lucky because my 4 year old son continues to respond well to chemotherapy in attempt to survive brain and spine cancer. His MRI yesterday showed no tumors in his brain or spine. HOORAY! He’s a real trooper about the horrible side effects, frequent hospitalizations, and long clinic visits that go along with it.

I am a lucky mommy too, two of the most handsom young men, they are grown now 24 and 25 but I will always be there mommy, my boys are the sweetest boys ever, they helped me get out of an abusive relationship with there father, they call and check on me if not stop by almost daily. I was in a horrrendous car accident 6 years ago and they have stood by me thru it all. one example the night before my surgery where I didn’t know if I would keep my right leg they came over cooked me dinner got me to laugh and never left my side till the doctors made them, if not for them I don’t think I would be who I am today I would be lost with out them and their I love you mom and is there anything I can do to help you daily helps me to get up every morning, I hope every mommy out there is lucky enough to have great sons as mine.
