A Quickie: First Steps and Other Random Stuff

1. Elias took his first steps yesterday. Day care is closed this week, so Matthew was there for the big moment. I was at work, but Elias re-enacted for me last night. 🙂 Three steps and down he goes. Sweet baby.

2. I loved this video. What words/phrases drive you crazy?

3. Angie and I are going to be co-leading an online book club and we want you to be a part of it! We are so excited. Details about the fun name we developed, the community aspect of it and more are coming very soon. In the mean time, go buy the book Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God and read Angie’s initial announcement here. We are going to be kicking off on Sunday, Sept. 6. I am so excited about the book club… and perhaps even more excited that we have until the 6th to get the first part done! It's been busy lately and wasn't sure I would be ready to go.

I'm so excited about the book. I just recently (last month) bought the book, and life got in the way. I just picked it up again last week. I can't wait to read it with ya'll. And Same Kind of Different As Me rocked my world.
