Giveaway Thursday: Little Books Series
As you know, I LOVE children’s books. Seriously, Elias has more books than we can ever read in a week. But with a daddy who is an author and a mommy who is a voracious reader, it really comes as no surprise, does it?
This week I am thrilled to give away two sets of the Little Books series, thanks to Chronicle Books. Right now they are hosting an awesome Happily Ever After contest in conjunction with the series. You can win amazing prizes including a dream room from Pottery Barn Kids!
Little Pea, Little Oink and Little Hoot are the sweetest stories all about little vegetables/animals who want to do the opposite of what their parents want them to do (but the opposite is what we want our kids to do! For example, Little Oink doesn’t want to mess up his room, he wants to clean it! Seriously, do you not love that concept?
Each book’s illustrations are darling too. You can even send e-cards featuring the illustrations from the Little books.
You can watch the beginning of Little Oink below.
I think the concept is so creative and will love talking about the characters with Elias when he is a little older. You can buy the Little books on Amazon or at any bookstore.
To enter to win a set of books, tell me which storyline you like best:
- Little Oink who wants to clean his room instead of mess it up
- Little Hoot who wants to go to bed at night instead of stay up
- Little Pea who wants to eat healthy instead of eat junk food
This must be your first entry!!
For additional entries (leave a comment for EACH additional entry):
- Enter the Little Books Happily Ever After contest here (and maybe win a dream room from Pottery Barn kids!)

Eating heathly for sure! I don't know why such a stigma is put on kids that heathly foods are gross. Let kids have a chance to try good foods and they will like them! (Mostly;)
I love "Little Hoot"!!
I love "Little Hoot"
Who can't use some extra help getting the kids to think it's a good idea to go to bed?! Also, I really love owls!

I think the little Hoot One sounds good. My kids sometimes want to stay up, so this would be a good one about Little Hoot who wants to go to bed at night instead of stay up!
Little Oink! Parents can pretty much control what their kids eat. And eventually kids will get tired. But cleaning up after them? I dread it! Teaching kids to clean up after themselves is a great life skill and a great gift for parents!
As an aside, I grew up getting yelled at because my room was a "pig-sty," so I especially love that the clean-up book is about little "oink!"
i hope i win because my daughter really needs this one:
