December Daily Part One
I have been working diligently on my December Daily all month. It has been such a rewarding experience and I LOVE how my album is coming together. I page through it several times a day because it just tickles me to see all the different size pages, the pictures, the textures, etc. I have my scrapbooking tote and little rubbermaid of Christmas embellishments sitting on our coffee table (away from Elias’s reach) and I work on a page every night- or two pages in a night if I have missed a couple days. Today I am going to share the first half of my album and tomorrow I will share the rest. These are going to be photo heavy posts, but I hope they inspire you.
December 1 – I started the album with pictures from our trip to Maryland since that is when we celebrated Christmas with Matthew’s family. We got home on the 30th – close enough.
December 2: Painting ornaments with Elias at Brushfire
December 3 – a letter to Elias
December 4- Elias and I at bedtime. The chipboard says ‘silent night’. On the back I designed a tree using a strip of words that I had. I love how it turned out. The embellished it with stickles glitter.
December 5 – Vintagefest- I like how the front of this page is just vintage santas. The only thing I added was the number and the glitter tree.
December 6 – St. Nick
December 7 – An envelope with our Christmas card and letter in it. I added the strip of paper so I could punch holes and not damage the envelope/card. I like to have our card in my Daily December each year.
December 8 – Angie, Keely and I went to hear the Pioneer Woman speak at Davis Kidd. I love that the journaling card looks like a little recipe card.
December 9- This is a “vintage” bingo card from a set at Anthropologie. It wasn’t a part of my album when I built it, but when I found them I had to add it. It worked perfectly because I brought the extras to play at community group.
Are you doing December Daily? How is your album going?
