Do You Use Groupon?

Have you discovered Groupon yet? If you live in or near a big city (there’s about 50 cities that are a part of it), chances are you could get some great deals on Groupon. Essentially Groupon offers a different gift certificate each day that you purchase at like 50-85% off.

I bought a gift certificate to go to Nashville’s The Local Taco a couple weeks ago, and we got it for $15 – and it was for $30 worth of food. We used it Friday night, and it was such a treat to go out to eat, and have it be so reasonable for our family of three.

If there is a Groupon for your city I recommend signing up to receive a daily email with the day’s Groupon deal because the deal is only good for one day. I would have missed The Local Taco deal had I not been getting the emails (and I had been getting them for a couple months before making a purchase!) You also can earn “Groupon dollars” when you refer people and they purchase a Groupon, which is cool.
