Favorite Pictures Album

My friend Stacy has a scrapbook of her favorite photos. You know the photos: the ones that make you smile every time you look at them. The ones that you always go back to. The ones you see a bit of magic in.

The above photo from our wedding day is one of those photos for me. One of our friends took it – not even our photographer (who was the worst part of our wedding day… but THAT is another blog post).

The idea behind the “favorite photos” album is that if your house was burning and you could only grab one album, if you had an album like this, you would have all your most cherished photos.

I have loved this idea for years and am finally committing to getting it started. I am not going to do a traditional scrapbook. For me that feels like too much commitment and time.

Instead I bought a two-up album. Each page will have the photo and a journaling card beneath it.

Simple.

Doable.

Affordable.

I like it.
