Okay, on with the photos! These are totally unedited, but I wanted to share them right away (warning, there are a lot). My parents were here for the weekend, and we worked hard and played hard. It was a really fun weekend.
Friday afternoon we went to Phillips Toy Mart to see the bunnies. This is a Nashville tradition. Elias wanted to climb in with the bunnies.
Saturday we went to an egg hunt at the Belmont mansion. They hid 1000 eggs but with more than 200 kids there, we only found two. Elias didn’t seem to care though – he just didn’t want to stop running to take pictures.
The best part was that they had baby chicks and ducks you could hold. Elias LOVED them. He didn’t understand gentle at first as he swatted the poor duck’s head, but he got the hang of it. SOOO sweet. My mom got some great shots.
Sunday morning we went to church all dressed up. The only photo I got of Elias in his Polo shirt was with my parents. Good thing it is an awesome shot!
We did baskets in the late afternoon. Elias loved his Elmo basket from Nana and Papa and he loved his cars in his basket from Mommy and Daddy.
Sunday night we dyed Easter eggs. This was Elias’s first time dying eggs and he had a BLAST. He kept dunking his hands into the dye. It was hilarious.
I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend! Don’t forget to upload your awesome pictures to Snapfish. I am starting to upload mine now!
