Preparing for the Elmo Party

Tomorrow is Elias’s Elmo party, so after Elias goes to bed I will be busy, busy, busy getting everything finished! Yesterday, I baked his Elmo cake and made the buttercream frosting, and I am planning to frost it tonight. While I have taken cake decorating classes, I haven’t made a cake this detailed before, so wish me luck.

Here’s the cake in the oven. 🙂 Looks yummy already.

And Elias helping me clean the frosting off the mixers – he wasn’t messing around. He bawled when I took it away. 🙂
