Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! If you are new to The Mom Creative, each Tuesday, I share my pictures from my Project Life album – a photo a day for all of 2010, and readers are invited to link to their blog posts that share their photos. My only requests are a) that you link back to The Mom Creative or post the Project Life Tuesday button on your blog/in your post and b) that you link your actual Project Life Tuesday post in the Linky Tools widget – not your blog homepage.
Sunday, July 4: It has become an annual tradition to go to Pete and Brandi’s house for their fabulous 4th of July party and fireworks spectacular. Elias was a little afraid of the fireworks, so we watched most of them from the screened in porch – with one ear on my shoulder and one hand covering the other ear.
Monday, July 5: Elias and I had a fun hanging out together on my day off. His peanut shirt is one of my favorites.
Tuesday, July 6: After work, we had dinner at J. Alexanders with Emily and Patrick who were flying through Nashville and made a stop for a few hours. We got along just as famously as we expected. I can’t wait to be roommates at Relevant.
Wednesday, July 7: I made the cake and frosting for Elias’s Elmo cake this morning. Elias LOVED licking all the frosting off the beater and he cried when I took it away.
Thursday, July 8 – no photo because I had one of the worst migraines I had in two years on Thursday night. I was down for the count on the couch by 6 and in bed by 6:45 pm.
Friday, July 9 – It took several hours, but I successfully made an Elmo cake for Elias’s Elmo birthday party. The hardest part was getting the frosting a true red.
Saturday, July 10- Elias’s Elmo birthday party was a huge success! He had such a great time with his friends and he loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to him. He clapped wildly when the birthday song was finished.
Your turn!
