Project Life Tuesday

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! Sunday, July 11- Elias wants to watch “Elmo show” as soon as he wakes up in the morning. Here he is, totally engrossed, still with sweet bedhead.

Monday, July 12- Today Elias turned two! We took apple cinnamon muffins to school for a special snack and all the kids exclaimed “cupcakes!” They were so cute.

Tuesday, July 13 – Matthew was in Seattle for three days for a World Vision meeting, so tonight, after he got home, Elias wanted to snuggle and read books with him. Their relationship is so special.

Wednesday, July 14- Because Matthew was gone for Elias’s birthday, we opened his birthday presents tonight. Elias was especially excited about his new bath toys.

Thursday, July 15- Today was water day! Elias had his two-year check up right before school, so he got there just as it had started. (He is in the 25% percentile for weight and 40% for height!) I love this picture his teacher took of him playing on the playground after water play.

Friday, July 16- Elias’s MawMaw sent him these animals for his birthday. He loves his “maminals” and had fun stacking them on the chair, taking them off and stacking them again.

Saturday, July 17- Elias and I went swimming this afternoon. Though he didn’t want to swim for very long (he wanted a snack shortly after getting to the pool), he did enjoy splashing and floating in his float for a little while.
