Project Life Tuesday
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday! If you are new to The Mom Creative, each Tuesday, I share my pictures from my Project Life album – a photo a day for all of 2010, and readers are invited to link to their blog posts that share their photos. My only requests are a) that you link back to The Mom Creative or post the Project Life Tuesday button on your blog/in your post and b) that you link your actual Project Life Tuesday post in the Linky Tools widget – not your blog homepage.
Oh – and did you see? Project Life kits are again available on Amazon!
Many of you have asked where I got my days of the week that are on each of my photos. As a reminder, they are from the Ali Edwards line from Designer Digitals. But great news- you can get a FREE set of equally adorable days of the week from Sara Frankl! Download her set here. Thank you Sara for being so creative and generous. 🙂
Sunday, August 1: Melissa’s bachelorette party went well into Sunday. Here we all are outside the limo we got for the late night fun!
Monday, August 2: No picture- too busy getting ready for NYC
Tuesday, August 3: Tonight I arrived in New York City. I stayed at the Wellington Hotel, but didn’t take a picture. I am going to put a postcard from the hotel in the photo slot.
Wednesday, August 4: Today was my first full day in New York City. I had a shoot for The Responsibility Project, spent time with Nancy touring some of the city, then went out to dinner and to see A Little Night Music with Mike. It was my favorite day.
Thursday, August 5: I started my day at The Today Show, which was surreal. I met Al, Matt, Kathie Lee, Ree (the Pioneer Woman), Jean Chatzkey, and waved at Meredith. Then I spent the day with Liberty Mutual at Ellis Island and found Gustav and Salvatore’s names. I ended the day at Martha Stewart’s offices where I met many of her staff members and her daughter Alexis!
Friday, August 6: Friday was another whirlwind day. I went on a shopping spree in the garment district with ShopAtHome.com, got gorgeous with Vera and Audrey (and had my hair done by a Hollywood stylist), then enjoyed a Hallmark Christmas party.
Saturday, August 7: Saturday morning Steph and I went for a walk to do a little shopping and see a bit more of the city – Rockefeller Center, NBC and Magnolia Bakery were three spots we stopped at! Then I hit the expo and was impressed by so many brands especially Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Ebay Fashion and Dove. I also had lunch with some Kolocraft moms!
Sunday, August 8: Sunday morning I joined Flatout Bread on a walk to and around Central Park. It was so nice to get some exercise and see the park.
Monday, August 9: No picture
Tuesday, August 10: After Elias’s bath, we took some time to color together. Elias loves coloring, and it was fun to do it as a family.
Wednesday, August 11: After work, Elias and I went to the Thistle Farms open house. They just moved into an awesome new building.
Thursday, August 12: Elias and Matthew vacuumed together last night. They were so cute together.
Friday, August 13: The car thermometer read 105 degrees today when I got in it to go pick up Elias. YUCK.
Saturday, August 14: This afternoon, Matthew, Elias and I went outside for a little bit and blew bubbles. It was fun to get outside for a bit, though it was VERY hot outside.
Your turn!
