Challenge: Do a Mini Photo Shoot
When Elias was a baby, we used to do photo shoots all the time (like this Valentine’s one).
As he has gotten older, we have done this less and less. I don’t know why. Probably because he is so active it is harder to get him to cooperate. 🙂
On Tuesday, I bought a watermelon. As I was cutting it, I said to Matthew, “you know, I really wanted to do a watermelon shoot with Elias this summer.”
“well, let’s do it now,” he said.
So I cut off a big slice, we took off Elias’s shirt, I grabbed my camera, and we went outside and did a mini shoot.
Elias LOVED the watermelon and was a total ham for the camera.
The lesson: do a photo shoot. It doesn’t have to be planned.
You don’t have to go anywhere. Your front step will do.
This little shoot was only about 10 minutes, but I got some fantastic images that will likely be favorites for years to come.
Just take out your camera and shoot some photos!
You never know what you will capture.
