Katy Perry, Elmo and Sesame Street

Maybe I am opening up Pandora’s box, but I am curious what you all think.

You have inevitably heard about Sesame Street pulling Katy Perry’s video because some parents complained about her attire.

In case you haven’t seen the video, here it is:

I love Katy Perry’s music. I love her sound and catchy hooks.

I think that doing a hot and cold opposites song for Sesame Street is perfect.

But I do agree that her costume was too much for Sesame Street.

For Saturday Night Live or a concert – fine. That’s part of her brand and you can expect that. But for Sesame Street?

Come on Katy. Come on Sesame Street producers. What were you thinking?
