Project Life Tuesday: Week 1
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2011! If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome (and thank you Becky!). I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica: wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a delicious two-year-old, with another on the way, a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
I started Project Life Tuesday in 2010 because:
- I needed to keep myself accountable and on top of my photos each week.
- My family loved being able to count on a weekly post with pics of my sweet Elias.
- I thought others might want to keep themselves accountable too.
It was a huge blessing and so I am excited to do it all over again!
Each Tuesday, I will post my pictures/journaling from the previous week, as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures. Please be sure to include the Project Life Tuesday button in your post, which Becky Higgins’ designer kindly created.
Here are my photos from last week:
Sunday, January 2: My sister and Dan visited for the New Year’s weekend. I love this picture of the three of us!
Monday, January 3: Before Melissa and Dan took off, we took a group shot on the tripod. It was a bit sunny, but I love that we are all together. You can also see my growing belly!
Tuesday, January 4: Our condo is a bit drafty, so Elias has been rockin his Elmo slippers in the morning! I think I love them as much as he does.
Wednesday, January 5: Tonight I had to leave for a work trip to Chicago. I was so excited to use my new suitcase that I got for Christmas from my sister-in-law (she sells Thirty-One), but not excited to leave my family.
Thursday, January 6: No picture: I forgot to bring my small camera to Chicago! Thursday night, after a long video shoot, Rachel and I met for dinner. We hadn’t seen each other since her wedding, but it was like we hadn’t missed a week. It was wonderful to spend a couple hours catching up over delicious Italian food.
Friday, January 7: Our flight was delayed a bit out of Chicago, as evidenced by the snow falling outside our plane. (NOTE: For my vertical pictures, I crop them to 3×4 and then place them on a 4×6 canvas. I then put them in the small journaling pocket in my Project Life album, and put the journaling in the big pocket.)
Saturday, January 8: Uncle Danny and TeeTee brought Elias an Aquadoodle when they came to visit. He has been coloring on it non-stop. I think every parent of a two-year-old should have it. It is the best invention!
Your turn!
