Review: Similac Baby Journal
After Elias was born, we tracked all his feeds, changes, sleep habits, etc. in a journal.
I am excited that when Adelyne is born, we will be able to use an iphone app for all that information. I recently downloaded the Similac Baby Journal (http://similac.com/app) to see what it was all about.
It’s so cool and the design is so pretty.
On it you can track feeds (both breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding), sleeping patterns, diaper changes and growth.
It offers tons of cool charts and is very user friendly. You can even email info to your pediatrician! Compared to the other free baby tracking apps, out there, the Similac Baby Journal seems to be far superior. I have already told a couple friends about it.
From playing around with it, I do wish that there was a way to share the info with another device. (If Matthew and I both had the app on our phones, it would be nice if we could bump our phone to sync the info.) I also think it needs a clock on all screens!
In checking out other reviews, several people have mentioned that you can’t go in and add old data, which stinks. I know I would like to add in the baby’s info from day care during the day, you know?
Even with these needed updates, you certainly can’t beat free! I look forward to using this in a few months. 🙂
