Are You a Bar Person or a Sheets Person?
So back in the late fall, the good folks from Tide/Bounce sent me some Tide Acti-Lift detergent and a Bounce Dryer Bar to try.
You may recall that I was throwing up multiple times a day at that time.
What you don’t know is that I was also crying about not having energy to even wash a load of clothes.
Here we are, now in March, and I am finally back on the laundry wagon – although I am never caught up. It is like November-January put me so far behind I could never get ahead. That is, until this last weekend! Thanks to my friend Colleen, my laundry baskets are all EMPTY.
Elias had a blast playing in the empty laundry basket this morning- Daddy pretended it was a ship! |
I thought this was cause for celebration – or at least a blog post – about said laundry products.
I was very impressed with Tide’s ability to get out set stains – just rub a little bit of it on the stain, throw them in the wash, and bam, totally clean clothes.
But honestly, Tide is a little pricey for my budget. For us, I plan to keep a small bottle on hand for those really dirty/stained clothes and keep my Arm & Hammer for the every day.
However, let’s talk about the Bounce Dryer Bar because I am officially a convert and obsessed.
Seriously, I don’t know why you would ever use sheets again.
It is a-maz-ing.
You just attach this bar inside your dryer and it does all the work – clothes smell awesome, no sheet to remember to put in (or pull out of a pants leg) – nothing. And it lasts for like 3-4 months (I am ready for a new one!).
I also love that I can ask Matthew to throw in a load of wash into the dryer and I don’t have to remind him about a dryer sheet. The bar is already there.
It’s just one less thing to think about.
I love it.
