Badger/Belmont Faceoff

I graduated from UW.

Matthew graduated from Belmont.

The two schools are facing off tonight in basketball.

As soon as I found out about the game, I started teaching Elias to say “Yucky Belmont.” He has worn Badger gear since birth, so he knows the Badgers.

Tuesday night I was cleaning out my shoes (boxing up the ones I won’t wear for the next six months and bagging a bunch for Goodwill) and Elias found my Wisconsin sandals, which he quickly put on. He also put on a hat I got when I went to the Today Show and his sunglasses. He kept saying he was going to the beach and “Yucky Belmont.”

I was DYING.
