Project Life Tuesday

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2011! If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica: wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a delicious two-year-old, with another on the way, a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.

I started Project Life Tuesday in 2010 because:

• I needed to keep myself accountable and on top of my photos each week.
• My family loved being able to count on a weekly post with pics of my sweet Elias.
• I thought others might want to keep themselves accountable too.

It was a huge blessing and so I am excited to do it all over again!

Each Tuesday, I post my pictures/journaling from the previous week, as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures. Please be sure to include the Project Life Tuesday button in your post.

 

Sunday, May 8: We plan on transitioning Elias’s crib to a toddler bed this week. This was one of his last naps in a crib. He has to have many stuffed animals with him, including his favorite “monsters” and Llama Llama (all from Kohls – our favorite place for stuffed chinchillas!)

Monday, May 9: Toys, toys, everywhere. This is often what our living room looks like. Though it can get frustrating to continually be picking up toys, it is a season I never want to forget.

Tuesday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 11: No photos – I need to take some “make-ups”!

Thursday, May 12: Our Twitter friend Jenni was in town this week. It was so awesome to hang out in person!

Friday, May 13: The cicadas are here! They are SO gross. This is one of the bushes outside our condo. Elias points them out every day.

Saturday, May 14: Elias got a hair cut today for summer. He didn’t fuss one bit!

Sunday, May 15: My friends Alyson, Angie, Kristen and Mandy threw me a lovely baby girl shower today. It was wonderful to celebrate Adeline with friends.

Monday, May 16: I’m a little behind on laundry, but Elias didn’t seem to mind mixing Halloween pants with a Buzz lightyear shirt was fine with him. He added mommy’s winter wool hat to complete the look.

Tuesday, May 17: When Buzz doesn’t want to fly, of course riding a cow is a perfectly acceptable mode of transportation.

Wednesday, May 18: Today before work I went to Muffins with Mommy at Elias’s school. He was so happy to have me there.

Thursday, May 19: 34 weeks!

Friday, May 20: A group of Mandy’s girlfriends are throwing her a baby shower – right before my due date. So I took the job of doing the invitations. They turned out so cute!
