  1. I have been bc Eamon is so fussy so I have to wear him to get anything done. I’ve been using this pouch one I got years ago throuh marsupicool.com but she doesn’t make them anymore. It’s very easy bit I’m going to check out sugar sweet as well. I have a ring sling which I don’t really like & a mei tai that I can never figure out! And I’ll never figure out how to nurse when hes in there! I need a lesson!

  2. I did not wear CJ (my 4 year old) because we didn’t have anything fancy and I wish I’d have sprung for one because he was a very clingy baby.

I wore Derek in a Moby until I just could not anymore (he’s almost 2) – he loved it and he would still get in it if I could handle all 25 lbs of him. It’s just too much on my back. Everywhere we went, he was in the Moby – even at Church in his very young months – it really helped to deter people from putting their hands all over him (he’s a winter baby – TONS of germs everywhere)……..

  3. OK, first off, I think it’s just wrong that you look so fresh and lovely considering how you’re a new mom and all – just sayin’ 🙂

Second, I wish I was more of a sophisticated baby wearer. We’ll see at Hilton Head, maybe I’ll get in the groove there…

    1. Yes, let’s wear our babies together! And, you are too sweet about me looking lovely. Babywearing hides my extra 20 lbs and big nursing chest! 🙂

  4. Yes! We had our 3rd just a few days before Adeline was born and I wear him a lot. I go back and forth between by Baby Bjorn and Moby (I almost bought a wrap similar to yours before he was born, but went with Moby to make sure we would like it…turns out we love it!). We are on vacation this week in Colorado and everywhere we go I get cute comments about my sweet sleeping baby :), wearing him has been so much better easier than messing with the stroller in the mountains! So glad to see you and Adeline enjoy it as much as me and my little man!

  5. I’ve worn both of my kiddos and love it. I’ve got a moby wrap that I love but it’s pretty hot for the summer. I purchased a K’Tan mesh carrier for this summer with my little guy and it’s been great. Once he’s bigger I’ll put him into the Ergo as well. We actually still haul our 4 year old around in the Ergo on our backs when we are out on long outings and he needs a walking break. Baby wearing is awesome. 🙂

By the way, you look great!!

  6. With my 2 year old son Ryder, I never wore a carrier or wrap, except for taking him on hikes. He never liked being confined in a swaddle, much less a carrier. Now that I will be adding our sweet baby girl to our family next month, I learned from other blogs that a baby wrap was a must. It seems like it will make shopping, running errands, and doing chores around the house that much easier, so after reading reviews, I decided to go with the Baby K’tan wrap. Similar to the moby wrap but less fabric to have to tie around. I have practiced a few times with my son’s Elmo doll, but I will know for sure how to wear it like a pro (hopefully) once Brynley makes her debut in the next few weeks.

I wish I knew then with my son, what I have learned now. Had I known there were so many choices with baby wraps and carriers (not just the ones at Babies R Us) then I would have probably tried using a wrap more, or would have found one that my son liked being in better. You look so cute and I agree with the other comments, that you look awesome, don’t even look like you just had a baby *not fair lol*. I can’t believe that they make you take the carrier off completely at the airport now, but I guess some people will try anything. I do love the pink and brown fabric that the baby carrier came in that you have Adeline in. That is my only wish with the carrier I have. It’s just solid black, but maybe it will make me look more slimming after just having her ha!

  7. I got a Moby when we were going to be flying cross country when my daughter was three months old, and I wish I’d had it from the beginning. My daughter and I both loved it:)
Bummer about security! I had a couple flights where they told me she had to be out of it for take-off and landing – she was sound asleep the first time they told me, before a six hour flight. I admit I said “Oh okay, thanks!” and then ha my husband help me arrange a blanket to cover up that I still had the Moby on – I didn’t want to wake up a sleeping three month old at the start of a flight;). The flight attendant came back to check and didn’t say anything – I’m not one to be deceitful but in that case I admit I was.

  8. I love it!!! I wear my babies all the time when they are little! I have a moby, a gauze wrap, a mei tai (ok 2 actually!) and a buckle carrier!! I would never get anything done without it!!!

  9. I LOVE babywearing! I work in our campground office twice a week and bring the baby with. It would be so difficult if I couldn’t wear her! Elsa was born on a Friday and was at work with me the following Wednesday for a staff meeting.

I was too scared to try a ring sling with my second, but with my third I took the plunge. I love it! It isn’t as hard as I thought and is very comfortable and QUICK to get the baby in and out of. It also takes up way less space in the diaper bag.

My other favorite is a Sleepy Wrap. Stretchy like a Moby but stronger.

Our daughters are so close in age – it’s fun to follow along!

  10. Wore my second child more than held her! Wished I’d known more than to give up on a ring sling with my first. As you saw in Algona yesterday, my lil girl still loves the Ergo. Thankfully it’s rated up to 40 lbs and on outings she’s usually on my back! My moby wrap and Mei Tai were my favorites when she was a babe. Made my life so much easier especially breastfeeding in the Ergo on the go(never figured that out in the wraps)! Yours is sooo pretty!! I have the boring brown Moby and tan Ergo (can’t be picky when it’s second hand good deal!) ,but my Kozy Mei Tai is pretty pink flowers!
