31 Days:: Photo Canvases
This is the sixth day in a series: 31 Days of Memory Keeping. Check out all the posts here.
Yesterday I talked about picture frames and gallery walls, so it seems natural to today talk about photo canvases. Photo canvases are one of my favorite ways to enlarge photos that I love and display them. You definitely can incorporate photo canvases into gallery walls too. I think they add nice dimension.
I love photo canvases so much that I have them both at home and at my office. I’d much rather see my family than some picture of a tree. 🙂
I know you might think, oh, photo canvases are so expensive, but they don’t have to be! Here are a few ways to save on canvases:
Get them free – You can get free canvases a few times a year from various websites. Right now, Canvas People is offering a free 8×10 canvas or 40% off a larger size. I have ordered a few canvases from Canvas People and they are always beautiful. (You can take advantage of this deal even if you have in the past!0
Buy a canvas “flash” deal from a site like Groupon, Living Social or Mamapedia. Flash deal sites regularly offer canvas deals for canvases at at least 50% off. This is how I have bought most of my canvases.
Sign-up for newsletters and watch for sales. There will likely be many canvas sales as the holidays draw near because they make such great gifts!
Today I want to challenge you to make and order a photo canvas. These typically take less than 10 minutes (including the upload your photo part!). The Canvas People free 8×10 canvas is a great, dip your toe in the water start. If you want something bigger, I recommend buying one of the flash deals. This canvas can be for your home or for a gift (Christmas is soon!). You will love the finished product AND you will be taking a step to enjoy your memories through photos.
Thanks for the reminder, I did one about two years ago and LOVED it but I’ve been wanting to order another! I just ordered one.
I’ve never done this before but have wanted to try it! Thanks for the inspiration!
Just found a flash deal today on Groupon, thought your readers would be interested.
boise: $45 for an 16×20 print.
