  1. Hi Jessica, Just wanted to let you know – since you mentioned that you haven’t MyPublisher before – that I made the decision last week not to continue using MyPublisher for my memory books. I’ve used them exclusively for a couple of years and have made 8+ books. Loved their software and the flexibility it gave. Loved their amazing deals and buy-one-get-one-free options. However, the quality of the printed books has not been great and this last one (that I received last week) was terrible. Multiple emails later, I realized that their company will do nothing to change what were clearly printing errors made during the manufacturing process. Instead, they insist that the errors must have been my own during the creation process… despite the fact that all of the photos I used were more than adequate size and quality. I’m so disappointed, because like I said I loved using their software. I’m certainly not trying to dissuade you from taking advantage of their free book, but I did want to share my experience in case it’s beneficial to you or your readers.

  2. Well I am saddened to hear about Elizabeth’s experience with My Publisher. We’ve used them before and really liked their clean photocentric designs. I was going to say they have frequent sales and their My Mini books are inexpensive ways to make small projects that your kids can look through. They are sized just right for little hands, my daughter loves flipping through hers.

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about the bad experience mentioned here. I’ve made a number of books with them this year and I love them. I even had some trouble with my last order and they didn’t question anything on my end and just fixed the problem without any hassle. Maybe I just got lucky with my customer service rep on that one. Their software is the easiest to use out of all the company’s I’ve tried. They also send out fantastic deals all the time. I try to have several project finished, or almost finished, at any given time so that I’m ready for their next great deal that works for the project I’m working on. I use MyPublisher for our family Year in Review books and I recently tried the mini books. I love those little things! I ordered a bunch to mail off to grandparents/great-grandparents from Halloween. They are the perfect little book to carry around in your purse. I can’t wait to make a couple with fun things for my kiddos to enjoy looking at. I hope your experience is as good as mine has been.

  4. Thanks for the tip, I just created my first photobook. I do want to let you know that it’s not free though, it gave me a 19.99 discount but the book was 29.99 and then 9.99 shipping so I paid a total of 20. Let’s hope that I have one of the good experiences and it’s worth it to pay 20!

  5. Made several books with My Publisher. Pleased with the first few but this last time, I tried out their new lay flat pages and was not happy with the upgrade at all. The layouts came out off centered. It looked completely unprofessional. I contacted them about this issue and was told they were well aware of the problem. Said they were in the process of fixing it and offered to print a replacement book. Unfortunately, the book was a gift for a family member and I’d already sent it out. Had no way of sending it back to them so that was that. Plus, I was going to have to do the layouts all over again. Far too time consuming. You’d think they would do a few test runs before promoting a new feature like that.
