Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas:: 3 Days Left to Order
Well, since Christmas day is in one week, I thought it might be helpful for me to share a few last minute Amazon gift ideas. With Amazon Prime, you get free two-day shipping, so there is plenty of time to snatch up some last minute gifts. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can sign up for a free month trial and take advantage of the shipping deal for the holidays. (We LOVE Amazon Prime in our house!)
Baby Gifts
Lamaze Chime Garden: This was one of Adeline’s Christmas gifts. All the petals are different textures and the flowers play music when you play with them. It is so cute.
Baby Einstein Neptune Soother: Adeline got this for Christmas for her new crib. Elias now keeps his near his twin bed. He loves it THAT much.
Ocean Wonders Seahorse: This little seahorse plays music when you squeeze its belly. Elias got one as a baby and still sleeps with it (just like the fish tank above), and Adeline is getting one for Christmas.
Freddie the Firefly: Adeline loves toys like this on her exersaucer and car seat. We had this little guy, but lost him on our flight over Thanksgiving. 🙁 These are perfect stocking stuffers.
Baby Einstein Press and Play Pal Toy: These Baby animals are so cute and play classical music. Love!
Angel Dear Loveys: Every baby needs a few loveys. Elias and Adeline love their Angel Dear loveys.
Toddler Gifts
Your Body Puzzles : Santa brought these for Elias and after putting them together a dozen times, Elias said “that’s a great gift Mommy.” These puzzles are five layers and teach all about the human body. They are really cool and I know that we will play with them for years.
Buzz Lightyear 12″ Action Figure: Buzz is huge in our house. Elias loves flying this Buzz around the house.
Car Road Play Mat: We don’t have a lot of space in our condo, so a mat like this is awesome for spreading out to play with cars, then fold up to put away. We got Elias a rug very similar to this one.
Llama Llama Books: These are my favorite kids books, especially Llama Llama Misses Mama.
Megabloks Bag: This is another gift that Elias got a few years ago and still loves to play with. I love gifts that are enjoyed for years!
Fisher-Price Classic Farmer Says See N Say: We love this See N Say.
Look and Find Books: These are Elias’s favorite books. We got the first ones when he was about 18 months and he still loves finding the various hidden objects.
Husband/Brother/Dad Gifts
LG Blue Ray Player: I surprised Matthew with this Blue Ray for Christmas – and at more than 50% off, the price is pretty awesome. I am excited that we can watch Netflix from our TV.
Damages DVD sets: One of the best shows on television in my opinion. Holy smokes.
Job Gorilla Torch Flashlight: I bought this for my Dad a few years ago and he loves it. It has magnetic feet and can literally go anywhere!
Sister/Mom/Friend Gifts
DVD – The Help: this was one of my favorite movies of the year!
Project Life: I think I talk about Project Life enough for you to know why I love it. 🙂
$5 Magazine Subscriptions: I love giving magazines because they give all year. Amazon has tons of $5 subscriptions available including Good Housekeeping, Parenting and Country Living.
The Civil Wars: Barton Hollow: One of the best albums of the year! I can list to this CD on repeat all day.
Books I Love
Kisses from Katie: I have been reading this book for a few weeks and it has greatly impacted me. Katie is totally inspiring. The next Mother Theresa as far as I am concerned.
Churched: Matthew’s humorous memoir of growing up in an extremely conservative fundamental Baptist church.
One Thousand Gifts: One of the most life-changing books I have ever read.
The Hunger Games: I devoured this book in two days!
Don’t Make Me Come Up There: I’m not a big fan of most devotional type books for moms, but Don’t Make Me Come Up There is fantastic.
Someone Knows My Name: This is my favorite fiction book ever.
I was scrambling to come up with an idea myself until I saw this article. http://www.givingbetter.org/giving-blog/give-giving-card-holiday-season
What a cool idea!
Thanks so much for your post on last minute items at Dayspring! I was able to order some gifts for my in-laws! Woo-hoo! And I am officially done shopping (for far away family)! Nothing left to do now but eat cookies and snuggle with my family and get a few things for Hubby.
Very nice compilation of gift ideas… here are a few more that are ready to ship from christiangiftsplace.com… http://christiangiftsplace.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/last-minute-christmas-gift-ideas-ready-to-ship-today/

Oh well, I guess there’s always next year!
Ok Adeline could not be cuter sucking on that toy that matches her outfit….can’t wait to snuggle with your kids….xoxo
Different and neat gift ideas. Thanks. Am though for this year but I, like you, love to buy for others. Am starting a list of several things you mentioned for this coming year.
Just to let you know Target has the baby Neptune press and play toy (turtle) for 8.99–including shipping and tax!! I know you won’t get it before Christmas but it is a great deal!
