Easy Headband Organization
I never thought about headband organization until Adeline was born. In case you haven’t noticed, I love putting headbands on Adeline. She doesn’t seem to mind them at all, though I usually only leave them on for pictures, or if we are going out.
When Adeline was born, I kept her headbands in a small basket in her room. It quickly became full and I soon was finding them everywhere. They just were never ending up in the basket.
I began thinking of a good solution where I could easily organize and access them. I have seen lots of ideas for hanging headbands, but she just has too many and we don’t have the hanging space.
Then the lightbulb went on!
A hanging jewelry organizer.
So I went to the container store and bought this 80-Pocket Canvas Jewelry Organizer. You can find cheaper ones on Amazon, but I wanted to be sure to buy one that would last for years. I have also seen these organizers at TJ MAXX.
I hung it inside the bathroom closet door and promptly filled it up. After using it for a few weeks I can say, it is perfect for headband organization! I can see all of Adeline’s headbands and the storage isn’t taking up any extra room.
It also has given me the room to store all the headbands I have been making for Adeline, thanks to Pinterest.

THANK YOU!! My daughter’s headbands are in a basket right now and just yesterday I decided that I NEED another way to store them! Everytime I get one out I have to dump the basket to find which one I want – that gets old quick! My other problem is that since I can’t see them all the time, I tend to buy colors that I already have (lots of pink!) and forget to get some of the basics (she needed a black one yesterday). Thank you for sharing this idea! I’m going to order one TODAY!!
Mine are in a basket and still fit–but might not after I get crafty with those tutorials you linked! I pinned all three and am exploring their sites for more!
That’s my girl….Love the idea…we filled the 2 boxes in the linen closet with both of you in hair bows in no time….Much better way to display them….It looks Great !!!
First of all, she is absolutely beautiful, and her smile is so precious!! I love Pinterest … it is so addictive. I need to take a break from it so I can actually try some of the ideas I’ve pinned.
