Project Life Tuesday + Giveaway
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. This year, Epson is sponsoring Project Life Tuesday, and they provided me with their Epson Stylus R2880 Large Format Photo Printer (C11CA16201)

New Products
Before I share my recent spread, I want to be sure you were aware of all the new products Becky Higgins previewed this past week. I am pretty stoked about it all! Here are the sneak peaks:
Seafoam kit: What I will probably use for Project Life 2013
Olive kit: This kit is so, so pretty, but all the flowers make me think I don’t want to use it for my family’s annual album. Instead I plan to use it to do some catching up from my pre-kid days
Baby kits: I plan to get the girl one for Adeline since she has ZERO scrapbook pages dedicated to her first year
Childhood kits: I’m sure I’ll need a few of these too. I haven’t done any scrapbooking for Elias since he turned one. I love the practicality of these smaller kits
Okay, enough drooling over all that product. Here is my spread from July 15-21. (Be sure you read to the end, as I have a special giveaway today!)
Page one is a wrap-up of our time in Maryland. I love the sticker element “3” that I made of the three generations of Turner men – Matthew’s dad, Matthew and Elias. I used the journaling card to recap all the other photos.
The first insert (Design I)
The back-side has a few random shots. I cropped these to 3×3 and mounted them on cardstock. I love the pop of color this adds to the spread.
Then I used a 5 x 7 page
The last page is a photo heavy page of some of my favorite party shots. The single journaling card recaps the fun.

I have been a fan of Big Picture Classes (formerly Big Picture Scrapbooking) for many years. In addition to their ready to download classes (like my scrapbooking your baby’s first year class), they offer many longer-workshops. Becky’s class sound so fun! She’s the reason I was able to finally finish my very first scrapbook page. Until then I’d bought supplies but hasn’t know what to really do them until I got ahold of her first volumn of sketches. I’ve been an enthusiastic papercrafter ever since.
Love the look of how the smaller page protectors look stacked on your layout this week. I also shared a birthday invitation this week, also in a 5X7. Those are the perfect size for that kind of thing. Love the backdrop you made for the party!

Oh my gosh!! I NEED to win this. 🙂 How awesome. I’ve just recently decided to make Project Life my new scrapbooking style. I have four kids, including a set of triplets, one of whom is severely disabled. I’ve recently started a photography business and have run out of time completely for traditional scrapbooking, which I love. This class would be the jumpstart I need to get scrapping again! My triplets are starting Kindergarten this year and they each have about 3-5 pages total- poor kids!! 😉

Project life is the first time I’ve been able to keep up with my scrapbooks. Prior to that I had a tendency to start albums but never get them finished. I started using Project Life this summer, and I’m actually caught up!

I am re-joining the blog-o-verse after a time off to have my daughter, and I realize there is a whole world of ladies who blog and scrapbook. My mom and my sister are avid scrapbook-ers/memory keepers. I, on the other hand, have one picture propped up in my kitchen of my daughter for her baby dedication. I have thousands of digital pictures waiting to be born into the tangible world. I never print them because I am afraid they will just end up in a pile on my desk. Maybe, just maybe, having an opportunity to join Project Real Life would give me the jump-start I need.

Love your pages. Very inspirational. Becky’s stuff is really cool and I would love a place in her class. I haven’t done any project life but I think it would be perfect for my daughter who has special needs. She really wants to scrapbook but has physical limitations. I would love to learn how a structured, organized individual like Becky (and myself!) is able to accomplish so much without falling prey to the perfectionist tendencies that I have! I’ve done Project Live since it’s introduction and still love it as much today as when I first started it. It’s a wonderful method of scrapbooking and memory keeping.
I have 5 children under 10 – I have a scrapbook for my 1st child up until 6 months! I could really use some scrapbook motivation and ideas. I JUST started my first project life album and am LOVING it. Would love to win the class!

I need to give it another try. I was doing a 365 project and making a printed version with project life. Wheny 365 faltered so did project life. 🙁

This is my first year doing Project Life and I’m so glad that I have done it! I’ve basically been able to stay up to date which surprised me. I go back to work after being on Mat. Leave on Tuesday so I’m worried that I might get behind. I tried to start Project Life this year, but then got hit with shingles in February. It threw everything off… as that became my life. I’m still battling the aftermath of it. I would love to take this class and find a way to capture my own Project Life in spite of everything that’s happened. I want to go back & get this year caught up as it was really important to me to capture our family memories. That’s so cool you’re offering a freebie to this class. I hope I get picked. 🙂

I’m hoping this class will help me get started in the scrapbooking world. Right now I have supplies and loads of photos. But I don’t know how to get started. I’d like to do a baby album first but I just feel overwhelmed so I don’t do anything! Hoping the class gets me past that hurdle.

I have felt so guilty that I haven’t been keeping my photos together in a scrapbook or binder or anything. I’m pregnant with our third child and have missed so much already. When I heard about this I first thought it was going to be super in depth scrapbooking, but it seems that’s not the case? I would LOVE to get a kit and get started! This class sounds amazing!!

This class speaks to me on several levels because not only does it offer inspiration and community to start or continue Project Life on a weekly basis, but it is holistic-meaning that it encompasses everything about “real life” from homekeeping to organization. I love Becky’s philosophy that real life is to be celebrated-its a great reminder and encouragement to me as a stay at home mom of 2 little ones. I would love to be able to take this class!

I have stumbled across Project Life and I am so excited. I have organized all my pictures (31 years, 5 kids AND a new grand baby’s worth) and I’ve put together a good size scrap space and all the paper, glue, stamps, die cutting machines… any scrapper would need to celebrate those thousands of pictures. 🙁 I have completed around 6 lo’s since October 11. It’s not that I don’t love it… it just takes me a long time to do each lo. Project Life has given me hope that I can actually complete my goal of documenting all my photos for the future generations. I’d just love a spot in the class. Thanks!
