  1. OMG that is the cutest thing EVER. I wish I had a little one to put this on!! Next year!!! I am due in January, so my new baby boy might just be a little hoot owl next year!!! xoxox Holly

  2. Wow what a sweetiebird! And she has a very talented mom! I literally just finished making my daughter Sienna a tutu for Halloween. I have the picture of a pink owl costume but with a pink and black tutu dress! Now that the dress is finished, I’d like to follow your example with the stitch witchery and felt feathers but maybe attach them to a bandeau that she can wear with the halter tutu dress I made? And I haven’t decided if we’ll do mask, hat or makeup yet. Anyway, I love owls and my daughter loves pink, so we give your costume two thumbs up! Thanks for showing how it’s done!

  3. Hello, I am so excited to follow your plan on how to make my son his very first Halloween costume! He will be almost 8 months on Halloween! I plan on doing teal and white and have ordered an adorable owl ha and matching booties from etsy to go with it. My question is you said you cut a rectangular shape to apply to the arms as wings. How thick did you make the rectangle? Did you make it fairly large or real short with just a line or two of feathers to go on it. I’m so excited to get moving on the project! I’m also doing a similar version for me in pink! My husband is dressing as a tree!! Hahaha I can’t wait! Thanks a million for such a simple plan to follow!
