Project Life Tuesday: Week 34
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. This year, Epson is sponsoring Project Life Tuesday, and they provided me with their Epson Stylus R2880 Large Format Photo Printer (C11CA16201) for many of my album’s photos. Printing photos at home is definitely helping to keep me on track!
I am still working hard on getting caught up.
I love this week’s layout, which was the week that Matthew left for Sri Lanka. It has photos from the tail end of our trip to Wisconsin, an insert about Matthew’s travel over to Sri Lanka and a few every day photos as well.
I kept the design very simple again – focusing on getting another week documented and not a lot of playing with embellishments. (Forgive the simple iphone photos – I was out the door to work!)
For the first page, I used two 6×4 photos across the middle. I cut them in half to accommodate the page protector constraints. The two journaling cards talk about all the photos on the page.
Here is the back of the 5×7 insert. The front will be a photo of Elias, but I didn’t have a chance to print it. I used a 5×7 piece of cardstock with some washi tape down the side. All the photos are from Matthew’s Twitter stream during his 36 hour trip to Sri Lanka. I love, love, love this simple insert.
The top of the 12×12 page is all photos from the kids’ day with Matthew when they were off of school. Again I cut a 6×4 photo in half to accommodate two photo slots. The bottom row are all photos from my trip to Women of Faith with Ann. Love all the instagrams!
Your turn!
Great week, thanks for sharing 🙂
Funny, I’ve never considered cutting a 6×4 photo in half to fit into the 3×4 pockets but that makes perfect sense! Thanks Jessica. 🙂

I love how her photos look great that way, too! I always WANT to do this but it ends up cutting right through someone’s face, or something else.
Works great for preschool art, though.
It definitely doesn’t work on all photos. I had to be very strategic about placement. 🙂
Hi! I’m linking up for the first time. I love your photo layout. So colorful and lively! pop over for a cocktail anytime http://www.cocktailsatnaptime.blogspot.com Emma xxx
fun photos! Thanks for hosting PL Tuesdays; it’s definitely hepled keep me up to date this year 🙂
I love including my husband in my book. Most of the time I feel like he kinda gets left behind and my kiddos take center stage. That’s fantastic that your husband got to see Dubai during his stop over.
Love how you include your husband’s photos and his stories too and some of your me time too 🙂
