  1. I’m all about handprints. I traced my children’s hands on construction paper, cut them out, wrote their name and date on the bottom of the palm and then covered them with contact paper. They made me quit at 16 years old. My youngest is 10 so I still do his. I hang the first year ones on the tree and then use the others as garland around the house. I never tire of looking at those little (and big!) handprints.

  2. How sweet! I did this too, when my son was 6 mos. old (his first Christmas) and gave them to all the special people in his life. He’s now 11 and every year that tiny handprint becomes more precious. Happy Holidays!

  3. I did this the first couple of years with my daughter — I went to put away her baby one last year after Christmas and then thought “No, I like this too much to only put it out for a few weeks a year!” It’s been hanging on my kitchen wall ever since, and I love seeing it there every day:)
