Project Life Catch-Up and Glitter
I hope that y’all had the merriest of Christmases! We spent the day driving from Maryland to Tennessee yesterday. (Check out my Instagram feed for some fun pictures from our road-trip). It was a long-day and we are pooped. I fell asleep at 8:40 last night and slept the whole night through.
While in Maryland, I had lots of time to work on Project Life.
I got all the photos selected, edited, printed and in my album from October 21-December 1. YEOW! I also got my photo organized for Dec 2-15. This weekend I plan to get the rest of December printed and in my album and do a journaling marathon.
BTW, if you are needing pictures developed Snapfish is having a penny prints sale – get 99 prints for 99 cents (through Jan. 5) with the code NEWYEAR13. If I can get my act together, I am going to print baby pictures of Adeline for my Project Life Baby album.
I have never, ever finished my Project Life album completed and I am SO excited to do it this year. Be sure to check in on Tuesday for a video of all my caught up pages.
One of the things I plan to do in my album is add some glitter. Before we left for Christmas I got this amazing kit of Martha Stewart Rich Essentials glitter sent to me for review.
Check out the 24 beautiful colors.
Confession: I love glitter.
And Martha Stewart glitter is my favorite.
I think I might embellish some journaling cards similar to how my friend Stephanie did these tags.
Yay for glittery fun!

Will you be working on catching up on Project Life this weekend? Are you way-behind like me or on the ball?
This was my first year with project life (thanks to learning of it from your blog) and I love it! It has been the perfect solution for me. I am still kind of behind, but I have selected photos to have printed from October through the week before Christmas and am planning to order them today! I am determined to get it finished! I have the baby edition to start on for my daughter and am excited to get the Olive edition for next year. Thanks for sharing your pages!
What album are you planning to use with the baby edition?
I plan to use an American Crafts pink album. I have found that I prefer them to the We R Memory Keepers albums because they are fabric covered.
Here is my update from today also!! I got my 2012 album done this week!! I’m SO EXCITED!! 🙂

Your pages look fantastic. Way to go!
How cool! I love glitter, and ribbons! My brother and sister in law got me a bundle of ribbon spools for Christmas – the most exciting gift ever!
lucky you! 🙂
Hi, Jessica…I’m checking out snapfish for the sale but it says that the the NEWYEAR13 code expires January 1st.

???
Thank you for the Snapfish code! I finally figured out why I was having so many issues with the prints from them having distorted colors before — on the very first page before uploading it had automatically checked “auto correct color and red-eye” — unchecked that the last time I ordered and voila everything printed correctly…other than one picture of my daughter in a red polka dot dress where it auto-corrected several of the spots to black, as though it thought it was red-eye;) I just thought that was funny:)
ah! So glad you shared this.
