Project Life Tuesday: Lots of Weeks!
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited four-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky one-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. Some links are affiliate links.
For the sake of time, and since it has been awhile, I decided to a video of my Project Life pages for this week. I love doing this occasionally because I feel like I go into more detail/you can see what I mean better in a video than you can on a blog.
Weeks included: March 17-23,March 31 – April 6 and April 7-13 (WHEW)
Page protectors used: Design A, Design C, Design G, Design J, 5 x 7 Page Protector, and a new American Crafts page protector that I don’t think is available yet (I can’t find it online!)
Day in the Life
Today I am documenting a day in the life. (You might remember that I skipped March.) Each month I am following Ali Edwards’ lead and doing a more in-depth day-in-the-life look at things for my Project Life album. For my documenting, I am using Ali’s free daily sheets + a Design J page protector. It keeps things very simple for me. (Tip: I printed 12 of the sheets so I have them ready to go each month and don’t have the scramble the day before.)
I’ll definitely be doing some of my documenting on Instagram. You can follow me here.
Your turn to link up! Also, just a friendly reminder to please remember to link back to The Mom Creative in your posts. Thank you!
So jealous of your spring/early summer weather! It’s just been so frustrating up here in WI. Do you know it’s supposed to be back in the 40s on Friday??!! Arrrgghhh!!!!
Love the filler card about the child’s laughter. It ties in so perfectly with your photos!! Good luck with the Day in the Life! Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Love your pages! You got A LOT done! Go girl! 😉 Hugs!
Love the video and the ideas. Just starting out on my Project Life journey. I’m realizing I don’t have enough of a variety of page protectors.
I love the video and the ideas! I don’t have anyone local to talk PL to, so I really value the input.
What about a swap of some sort? Where we put together gift boxes full of scrapbooking supplies for one another and then mail them? It might be fun and a chance for some of us to try some new things.
I would recommend checking out a scrapbooking message board community on Two Peas in a Bucket or Studio Callico. Those are a great way to “talk shop” and I bet you could find others interested in doing a swap.
Jessica- I’m just looking into ProjectLife and want to start for the first time. I have two boys (7 & 3) and I’m overwhelmed and going back and starting from the beginning. Any tips?
Start where you are! 🙂
