It Worked – I Read an eBook Yesterday!
So in my reading recap yesterday, I said that I am going to try reading more eBooks this month to see if that would increase the volume of reading I was doing.
I started the month with a bang by starting and finishing the eBook What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast: A Short Guide to Making Over Your Mornings–and Life. I bought this in February because I am such a morning person anyway that I thought it would be an interesting read. It wasn’t very long, but chock full of inspiration and useful insights. I started it during the kids’ bathtime and finished it before bed.
I’m now even more excited to read more eBooks!
Yesterday, I also downloaded many of the 97 titles from the amazing Homemaker eBook bundle that is on sale for only $29.97 this week. I love that these books are geared toward women and that by buying it we are supporting so many women. Here are 7 books I am especially excited about.
Handmade Walls by Jamin and Ashley @ the handmade home ($9.95): I have wanted this book since I first read about it on The Nester’s blog, but $9.95 for one eBook seemed like too much. But now to get it with 96 other titles – YES, PLEASE. It is full of pictures and inspiration. I can’t wait to dive in.
Your Grocery Budget Toolbox by Anne @ Authentic Simplicity ($7.99): In reviewing our budget this past month, we realized that we really need to cut back our grocery budget. I have done coupons in the past, but need a bit of a reset. I am excited to read through Anne’s book for a reminder of things I’ve done in the past + some new tips.
Mindset for Moms by Jamie @ Steady Days ($4.99): I love reading motherhood books that are practical and encouraging. My friend Tsh says about this book: “As I read, the old proverb kept playing in my head—’As a man thinketh, so is he.’ Jamie’s words are gold! Short enough to read throughout a busy day, but essential enough to not go without.” Sounds like a perfect book for me.
Tell Your Time by Amy @ Blogging with Amy ($2.99): I met Amy at Killer Tribes this year. She is incredible at time management, but not in a “better-than-you” way. She is a mom and a business woman and I know I’ll learn some great tips from this book.
The Cottage Mama’s DIY Guide by Kristy @ Little Natural Cottage ($4.00): This books sounds like it is chock full of useful information including how to make your own cleaners, body products and more.
Holiday Mixes: Gifts in a Jar by Kristy @ Little Natural Cottage ($4.00)
I have pinned many craft and gift ideas of mixes in jars, so I love the idea of having many ideas in one ebook. Lots of inspiration for thoughtful and frugal gifts.
28 Days to Hope for your Home by Dana @ A Slob Comes Clean ($5.00): I have confessed before that I am not the neatest person when it comes to keeping a home. I am hoping that this book gives me a kick in the pants from a writer who gets it.

Love. you.
And you inspire me, friend. Love you. xo
That bundle is pretty tempting.
GO FOR IT! I am so tickled by the titles. It has books I have wanted and books that I probably wouldn’t have been exposed to/bought, but now I’m happy to have. It will bless you for many months to come. 🙂
I took the plung on Tuesday after looking at your blog post at least 5 times Monday :-). I’ve orders most of the extras (have my ‘my husband rocks’ t-shirt on the way and my yogurt culture, which I was going to order before I even saw the deal!!). I spent a few hours Tuesday downloading everything and organizing them on my hard drive. I also learned how to email files to my Kindle address so I can read the PDF’s on my iPad. Reading your post Monday completely changed my week, for the better. I’m loving having all these amazing titles to turn to when I have a small pocket of free time. Thank you!!
The freebies are awesome, aren’t they?
I’m so glad that this sale blessed you. It has blessed me, too. Those fringe minutes in our day are there for us to seize and not waste, aren’t they? Happy reading!
I bought the bundle but am having trouble downloading them onto my kindle. Anyone else having that issue? I’m sure it’s me. What are the steps you kindle user do to download them. I click on the “click here to download” and it comes up saying download has started but it goes away and when I look for it it always says it was not compleat. 🙁
