Project Life Tuesday (Wednesday): Week 28
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited five-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.
Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. Some links are affiliate links.
Week 28: July 7-13
Pages used: Design A, Design I (variety pack), Design D, 6 x 12 for 4×6 Photos
I’m only sharing part of the first page for privacy reasons. I love the right column of Adeline photos.
The right side is a book that Elias made at school. I trimmed down a page protector and sealed the side with washi tape. I then added two labels to the outside of the page protector with the title of the book.
I then stacked a Design I and a 6 x 12 for 4×6 Photos in my album. Lots of instagrams that week! I made one journaling card for all the photos in the “I” insert, and added little stickers to the card to point to each caption.
I did the same thing for the next insert. One journaling card for the entire insert. That entire insert is photos from Sunday morning.
The last page was dedicated to Elias’s fifth birthday. I love the Design D page protector. Again, I used a single journaling card. I added the {5} using thickers.

This man’s collection of 66 years of scrapbooks is incredible. If you appreciate documenting stories, you will love this. Too bad they didn’t have Project Life in 1947!
I loved all the little details of Melanie Makes’ spread!
Megan Liane’s washi tape accents are so cute.
I am always impressed by how many photos and stories you crank out every week! And it looked like a really fun birthday party!
Ha that was just his birthDAY, not the party. Just a small cake for our family and a few gifts. 🙂 The party pics are coming soon. 🙂
Thanks so much for the shout-out, Jessica – you’ve definitely inspired me to make sure I get at least one PL layout completed each week. 🙂
Awww! You are so welcome. Love your work.
I love all your inserts! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for sharing the story about the English man and his incredible diary! I think he was the original project lifer! 🙂
Love the instagram insert and all those wonderful birthday pictures!
Me too! I went to check out the story of the English man and his incredible diary – wow! Love this week’s photos in your PL, especially the ones from Elias’ birthday, and like how you included his book in PL!
