Guest Post: Making Art + Coupon

Happy Friday, friends! In honor of kicking off the Bloom book club selection, A Million Little Ways: Uncover the Art You Were Made to Live, I asked my friend Jennifer from Studio JRU to post here on The Mom Creative.

I am so excited to guest post here for my sweet friend, Jessica, and talk a little bit about creativity in my life.

I have always been creative. From the time I was little, I was drawing and painting and setting up elaborate doll photo shoots with my sister. I can not imagine my life without art and creativity… because this is who He made me to be. This is my gift from Him. This is what I am meant to share with others. When I saw art as the gift it is, with gratitude I could say YES to God and fully embrace the gift.

I see creating as a way of worshiping Him and reflecting Him back to the world. I want to serve Him. He shaped me with what I have to offer and my offering is my art… done in love. I do it for His greater glory. And what I hope for is that people are able to see Christ through me and my work.
