Adeline & KuKee Hello Kitty Let’s Play Dress Up
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and KuKee, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #helllokittyletsplay http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
I think it is so funny how kids fall in love with certain things. For Adeline, that thing is Hello Kitty. (Anyone else live with a Hello Kitty fan?) Adeline adores ANYTHING Hello Kitty, so when I had the opportunity participate in a campaign with KuKee and their cute Hello Kitty Let’s Play line at Macy’s, I jumped at the chance.
Macy’s has paired up with Evy of California, the designer of Hello Kitty, to create the interactive Let’s Play Dress Up Clothing Line. If you have a little girl in your life, this line is the perfect Christmas gift.
I bought two pieces from the collection for Adeline – a darling hot pink vest and the sweetest dress. Though she is just two, my little fashionista definitely has opinions about clothes. But sparkles, jewels and Hello Kitty was more than enough for Adeline to be pretty thrilled by her new clothes.
I love how simple and girly the vest is. I also so appreciate the little detailed accents in this line of clothing, like the vest’s jeweled buttons.
Adeline thought she was really something in the dress. She loved every little detail – from the sparkly fabric to the jewel crown to the skirt.
She kept saying she was Princess Hello Kitty. She loved that you could “dress up” the kitty on the dress with a velcro princess dress that came with the outfit. Of course, I could hardly get her to stand still for 2 seconds while I tried to take a picture of it. 🙂
The line is a bit pricey for what I like to pay for kids clothes (many pieces are in the $20-$30 range), but if you are going to be shopping this holiday weekend, they will be on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday! I found that the pieces ran a bit small, so bought a size up for Adeline. You can see more of this cute Hello Kitty line on this Pinterest board.
One of the cool bonuses of this clothing line is that it comes with an interactive app. Simply download KuKee to your phone (iPhone or Android), scan the tag on your Hello Kitty clothing and play.
For the Let’s Dress Up line, you can dress Hello Kitty, then take a selfie and decorate the Hello Kitty frame. Elias and Adeline thought it was hilarious and kept wanting to take pictures of themselves.
The only down-side of the app is that you have to rescan the tag every time – it doesn’t remember it.
You don’t have to buy the clothes to enjoy the Kukee app. You can also look for KuKee markers on KuKee’s Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram. The image below for the Kukee Scavanger Hunt shows you how to find other graphics. 🙂
Has Hello Kitty mania hit your home? Is your daughter a little fashionista?
Oh my word, that pic of her pouting. That’s why I’d be a goner if we had girls! And, my niece is going to LOVE that app.
Yes, let’s just hook her up with one of your cutie boys. 🙂 xo

So adorable. I’m jealous that you can get her to pose for pictures. My son won’t stand still long enough.
It is VERY tricky and usually unsuccessful Bree. 🙂
Oh my goodness I love this so much!! Your daughter has your beautiful smile friend and her dresses are adorable!
Oh my word, that face melts my heart! What a darling line for little girls! Great post, my friend.
Adeline is adorable.
Hello Kitty has never been a huge thing for my little girl, but we are ALL about My Little Pony!
Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon every day.
It’s always exciting to read through content from other writers and use
something from their websites.
