Review + Details on HOT Silhouette Sale (40% off!)
If you read any craft, DIY or memory keeping blogs, you are probably familiar with the Silhouette. The Silhouette is an incredible tool – it can literally cut just about anything.
The kind folks at Silhouette recently sent me a Silhouette Cameo about a week ago and I spent part of our Thanksgiving at home playing with it.
But before I share what I made, I want to share this HOT sale they are having now through December 8. This price is better than anything I have seen in stores.

Using the Silhouette
I must say I was a bit nervous to use the Silhouette Cameo at first, but it was really easy.
Whenever I have seen posts about the Silhouette online, I have sort of ignored them knowing that I didn’t have the machine. (You might have seen Ali Edwards use the Silhouette regularly in her scrapbooks – I love her style so much.)
Now that I have one, I am overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the possibilities of what the Silhouette Cameo can do. Frankly, I don’t know how I ever lived without this machine – ha! I am confident I will use it for many years to come. What’s nice about the Cameo is that it can be used on paper up to 12″ wide, so its perfect for standard 12×12 cardstock.
We installed the software easily and then I watched the 10 minute tutorial DVD that comes with the machine. As soon as I did that I was ready to go. The software is very intuitive and easy to use.
The Silhouette comes with some preloaded shapes that you can cut and with the sale this weekend you get a gift card to use to download additional templates. They have TONS of Project Life cards, which is of course what I downloaded and cut out using my Cameo.
Aren’t they adorable? I’m planning to use these in my pages about our recent Bahamas trip. I have a feeling I am going to be printing many more cards to use in my Project Life albums.
I already started my own Silhouette Pinterest board and found a ton of inspiration on Silhouette’s Pinterest page.
So, head over to Silhouette’s website and take advantage of their incredible sale using the code MOMCREATIVE. You are going to love this machine!
Sale ends December 8.
