Mother’s Day Giveaway: Spartina 449 Wallet & Scarf

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, a group of 20+ blogger friends decided we would host a massive giveaway round-up of amazing gifts for moms. I’m THRILLED to be giving away two products from Spartina 449, one of my new favorite brands.

Spartina 449 was founded by Kay Stanley. Scrapbookers are likely familiar with her famous K&Company brand. (I about died when I realized it! NO WONDER I love these products so much.) Spartina 449 designs handbags, accessories and jewelry that may be purchased online and in independent retail stores. They graciously sent me a box of their products to use during my crazy month of travel, which wraps up this week.

At the beginning of the month, I headed to New York City for a work conference.

The carry-all tote was perfect for my laptop, a notebook, wallet, etc. I love it’s size, durability and the Chaplain’s Landing pattern. I felt very fashionable on the streets of New York.

I also brought my Hollecker satchel, which is super roomy and fun- perfect for spring and summer. It is versatile enough to carry for every-day and for going out on the town – like I did with my dear friend Mike! (Some day I need to do a Throwback Thursday story about him. We’ve been friends for more than 10 years and he was in our wedding.)

However, my use of those items wasn’t just limited to New York. I literally use them every day.

Then I was home in Nashville for just a few days before heading to Disneyland. For the trip I brought the Spartina 449 Weekender (Martinangel). It fit in perfectly at the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, didn’t it?

We were SO glad we had it at LAX when our luggage was 18 lbs over! Whoops. We stuffed it FULL. I couldn’t believe how much it held.

I also used the folio phone wallet at Disneyland. It was SO nice because instead of taking a purse with us, I had everything I needed right there. It was also compact enough that I could easily carry it on rides. I have never had a wallet/wristlet like the folio and I don’t know how I lived without it.

I can’t say enough about the quality of these Spartina 449 products. They are incredibly durable, yet beautiful. I get compliments on my bags all the time. They are a little more expensive than what you would find at Target (ie: the purseI have is $155), but it is a far superior product and worth the investment.

Next week I am headed to Mom 2.0 in Atlanta, and I am planning to all my Spartina bags with me.
