Throwback Thursday Stories
Welcome to Throwback Thursday Stories where each week we share and link-up the stories behind our Throwback Thursday photos. It’s an awesome opportunity to document untold stories about the photos in shoe boxes, scrapbooks and hard drives in your home.
Sorry that things have been quiet here for a few days. It was Adeline’s Hello Kitty party last weekend (post coming soon) and then I had a two days of meetings at my publisher’s headquarters in Grand Rapids. This pregnant mama is pooped!
Adeline turns 3 on Monday, so I decided to throwback to her first birthday party. I remember the day well. I was so excited to plan a frilly, girly party. The tutu made me squeal with delight.
It’s amazing how much she has grown up since this photo in how she looks, but her personality is still pretty much the same – sassy, passionate and funny. And she still loves milk as much as she did as a baby. It is the first thing she asks for every morning. I’ll miss that raspy little voice saying, “Mama, can I have some milk please?”
Check out this picture from Saturday:
I always hoped to mother a daughter and am so thankful to have the honor of being her mommy. What Throwback Thursday story do you have to share?
That picture is adorable! Makes me wish I had done a better job of documenting my child’s first birthday 🙁 Thanks for hosting Throwback Thursday Stories!
