  1. Jessica, I love seeing how many pictures you use in your layouts! I have this weird mentality that “nobody wants to see ALL my pictures”–like I have to edit them down to make OTHER people happy. LOL. When, really, scrapbooking makes ME happy and my kids really LOVE seeing ALL the photos. Thank you for reminding me that it’s ok to print a TON of pictures! such freedom! xo. EE.

    1. Yes, always scrapbook for yourself and your family. One person’s style isn’t going to necessarily be yours! I do heavily edit (our trip had probably 2k pictures), but don’t limit it too much. 🙂 I generally do 3 albums a year (4 months per album).

  2. Love your pages! So happy to see that you are getting more time to Project Life again. You always have such great ideas. Have you seen the new Heidi Swapp panoramic page protectors? It’s like having an insert attached right to your page!

    1. My city sold out of them right away, so I haven’t seen them in person. Hoping more become available. I know I would love them!

    1. Just our Canon Rebel with either our 50 mm lens or our wide angle. The parade shots were taken with the wide angle (never would have gotten the characters with my kids otherwise) and the Jedi pics were with the 50.

      1. Thanks so much! We are taking a trip to Disney (hopefully!) and I wasn’t sure if we should risk taking the big camera with us!

  3. Love your use of the Heidi Swapp stuff….I just bought the gold foil pack of page protectors that she released….it was a huge toss up between those and the new panoramic pack but chose to start with the foil…..might have to go back with another coupon and grab the others before they sell out! Birmingham was well stocked:)

  4. Jessica –

Apologies if you’ve covered this before…but how do you plan on splitting albums with your kiddos when they are older. I’m at an absolute loss for how to solve this without having to create duplicate albums!!

    1. They can duke it out when I’m dead. 🙂 I create photobooks of their birthday parties and special vacations for them. I only create one family scrapbook, which is what was commonly done in the “old days.” I just don’t stress about it.
