Does your family have a membership to Sam’s Club?
As someone who strives to save our family money, I have found that Sam’s Club helps me buy the things we love, while stretching our finances further.
I became a Sam’s member when we moved into our home three years ago because of its convenient location. Previously I had a membership at another membership retail warehouse, but now I am a huge Sam’s Club fan.
Here are ten reasons I love Sam’s Club:
I don’t have to shop often: Because the products are large sizes, I can go once a month to stock up on much of what we need. With working full-time and having three kids, saving time is important to me.
Convenience: I already mentioned they are close to my home, but even better than that, they are now offering Club Pick-Up. You can place your order online and then they text you when it is ready to pick-up. I think this is going to be my new way to shop at Sam’s Club because it will save SO much time! The Sam’s Club website also offers subscription options for baby products, like diapers and wipes, and shipping is free. These kinds of benefits are SO necessary for surviving motherhood, right?!
High quality: Whatever I buy at Sam’s Club, I know it will be high quality.
Wide selection: Sam’s Club has a wide-selection of products, often times of both private label items and name brands. I rarely feel limited when I am shopping at Sam’s Club.
Lots of baby products: I buy Adeline’s pull-ups (for nighttime) there, as well as formula for Ezra. (We are starting to mix some formula with breast milk for him, as my supply has really dwindled.) They carry many brands I trust including Huggies, Pampers, Destin, Aveeno, etc. Sam’s Club is definitely an affordable way to buy many of the baby products I need.
Kids clothes: Sam’s Club carries quite an array of baby and kids clothes, including Carter’s! (Tip: at the end of season, pay attention to the prices. Oftentimes, you can get clothes for 50% off the crazy low prices. For instance, I found bundled two outfits for less than $5 a few weeks ago.)
Fabulous food: I love their produce, the quality and the prices. Seriously, 3 lbs. of bananas for about $1.30. 2lb bags of lettuce for about $3. Yes, please! We also buy a lot of meats, breakfast foods and snacks there.
Makes party hosting easy-breezy: Whenever we are hosting a party, I always go to Sam’s Club for the food. The quality is excellent and the bulk sizes allow me to save over a typical grocery store. The bakery also makes amazing cakes!
Coupons: In addition to the low prices, Sam’s Club sends me savings books throughout the year to make prices even lower. They also accept regular coupons. (If you join Sam’s Club with this link you will get a bonus of $80 in coupons for things like diapers, wipes, baby wash and more.)
More than food and diapers: Sam’s Club is a lot more than food and diapers. I have bought serving pieces, small appliances, light fixtures, even tables at Sam’s Club. Our patio set is also from there. They also have a fantastic book and movie section. It has it all!
If you don’t have a membership to Sam’s Club, I would definitely check them out. Your membership will easily pay for itself every year. Mine does!
